My husband and I are moving into a new home this summer and we were planning on using our hardware as much as we could, as we like to support local business, well that changed after our visit on thursday. They have a man employed there who Im assuming is supposed to deter people from shoplifting, which I understand is a great concern, however this man was not only imposing he was genuinely intimidating and also snooped on my husband and I the whole time we were in the store which made me very uncomfortable. We bought a saw that was advertised as 5 dollars and the woman behind the counter charged us double, when I told her that was wrong she actually ARGUED with me and refused to sell me the saw for the price it was clearly marked as. Never coming back!! You have lost potentially loyal costumers!

Wow! Not at all what I expected for customer service when I called. I had heard great things about them. So I call for some replacement parts as I was going to go there at lunch and would have limited time. The lady who answered the phone was very dismissive. "You can bring your paper in and we can see if we have it" I explained that I just needed some screws and I would be short on time. She says hold on...doesnt put me on hold and proceeds to speak to someone else who is in the store...I mean come on...it was some screws for crying out loud...you cant check for screws?

Great new neighborhood hardware store. Just opened 2 weeks ago. Its actually run by the same people who had the old Government Street hardware store. Rather than wandering through a huge warehouse store looking for what you need, having trouble finding what you want, and finally leaving with something you had to buy in bulk, go to Our Hardware where they helped me get in and out in less than 5 minutes.
