My fiance bought my diamond engagement ring here. After he had given it to me I had noticed spill over of the rhodium they use to secure the diamond in place. He brought it back and they "fixed" it then he gave it back to me and i noticed right away that had not fixed the problem. So the next time we went there we went together to look at wedding bands for him. I showed them the ring and the sales lady took it back and said we will clean it up right now and walked away with it. she brought it back a few minuets later and as soon as she handed it to me i saw that it still looked the same. She said that it was supposed to be there to hold the diamond in place. I tried to explain to her it wasnt anywhere near the diamond and she got frustrated with me. Another employee came over and he took the ring back and had it cleaned again and brought it back a while later and said yes there was some spill over and that the jeweler cleaned it up which by the third time they had. Then the sales woman who originally took it in the first place said that I should have not worried about and it and "that will rub right off eventually". I was shocked. My fiance paid 7k for something to be done right the first time, not for something to "rub off." The whole time that sales woman was giving us attitude and was being completely disrespectful and rude. I am not impressed with the quality of work nor the education of the sales staff. When purchasing the diamond they did not even mention the flaws to my fiancee or let him look at them under a microscope. Also do not use them to engrave anything! they even say that their engraver is ancient. The engraving on my ring horrible. The lettering is different sizes and some of the letter are too close together and its not even centered! My fiance feels like he failed me because he did not know any better. We will NOT be buying anything from here ever again.

I dont normally write reviews BUT during one of the most stressful times of my life (good stress) I went to Lasker Jewelers to find my now wife the "perfect ring" for what I thought was going to be an in and out situation. There I found Jill OMara Robinson and it ended up being a +5hr stop (only because I couldnt make my mind up) Jill is the nicest person I have ever done business with, hands down. I have never met anyone that cares about what I wanted, what my wifes style was going to be and to make sure it was "PERFECT" then the help I received from her. Never once did I feel pressured to buy a SINGLE thing and I think that is what made it difficult for me to decide. She gave me more then enough ideas to choose from, I brought in a handful of my wife rings to her and Jill worked her magic! I went in to see her again right before the wedding and ended up leaving with a pair of earring that my wife was looking at before hand that I didnt know about, Jill let me know and I decided to pull the trigger and give them to her as her "brides gift"!!! We went back to Jill yet again to find my wedding band and pick out my wifes band. My wife cant stop talking about her ring, her band, my band and how perfect everything is and what Jill did for her and myself!! I owe Laskers and Jill more then 5 stars!! Jill alone is worth 5 stars!! Thanks Laskers and Jill R.

Lasker Jewelers is the best jewelery store in Eau Claire Hands Down. I have been shopping at Laskers since I came to town in 1995. They have the best and most extensive collection of jewelery that the other jewelery stores in Eau Claire can come even close to. They are always bringing in new and fresh items and can custom make items. Contrary to the one bad review they have repaired any of my jewelery that has broken. The one time I went to another jewelery store(big mistake) and bought a diamond ring, they gave me a fair price on it, so I could get a ring that wasnt turning my wifes finger black. The store from the outside may look too ritzy, but once you get inside they have something for every price point. They even have gift items for your love one, like enamel and gold dipped roses. The staff is so helpful and non-intimidating. I have worked with Pam and Jill throughout the years. Their the best, but so are the others. Do go there, but plan on spending a long time looking at all the bling. It will be hard to decide which one(s) you will walk out with. They can always start a wish list on the computer, so that your favorite piece(s) are remembered the next time you come into the store. This will make it very easy for you or your significant other to make that special purchase. Stop by you will love it!!

The staff is very knowledgeable, accommodating, and patient. I certainly learned a lot about jewelry, why certain materials are valued over others or what is most desirable in a gem. My experience was very personal. I think purchasing an engagement and wedding bands it is a personal and exciting thing. Stephanie was the saleslady that helped me pick my the band for my wife-to-be as well as pick the diamond. I wanted something unique, so Stephanie and I reviewed some options and I had a blue diamond set in the band. Stephanie made a point to get to know me, my name, my girlfriends name. There was a lot of "get to know YOU" talk. Aside from being friendly and professional, Laskers stands behind their product. I didnt have to pay 10% of my products worth for a warranty. They were accommodating of my service and offered a military discount. The other thing that meant so much to me as a consumer was the jewelers work right in the store, which means anytime youre jewelry needs to be cleaned, resized, or have any maintenance preformed on it, they can do it in store. In my experience, they are proficient and typically ahead of schedule. Ive had two early pick-ups with them. Laskers has made a customer for life. I plan on purchasing all my jewelry from them in the future.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Lasker Jewelers. Jill OMara Robinson was who we worked with. Before getting engaged, she was aware of the ring I wanted. One day I told my husband that I would never want something too big out of fear of scratching others. He took that knowledge to Jill and between the two of them, they found my perfect engagement ring! The month before our wedding, Jill and I found the perfect wedding band to go with my ring. She easily could have sold me something 2x as expensive, but she understood that I was looking for something that just resembled my personality. She found exactly what I wanted and it was more than in my price range...it was affordable! Today, my husband and zi are happily married, I have my dream wedding ring and engagement ring, and a beautiful necklace that has my sons toe print inside a heart. Jill didnt just become our Jeweler, she became our friend and says hi whenever we come in. She always has a smile on her face, remembers our son, and even reminds me...to keep my rings clean!! Thank you Lasker Jewelers for such an amazing experience. We thank you for being a local business and a great part of our community!
