My friend and I drove around the city twice waiting for the shop to open as we were excited to see what kind of things they had there. Once the stores actually open and we were able to go inside they seem to have a fairly good selection of old school game and game equipment. The shop owner after they got off the phone and stop talking to each other decided to ask me what we need to know if I could help with anything. I told them that we were looking for are USB to old school game controller connector. The owner seemed shocked and taken aback that we would say something about emulation and he said that we dont support emulation here in our store is it would take away from what were trying to sell. As I can respect that notion of this I can say that being a former business owner and a frequent customer of used game stores this is not the way you talk to a customer. He then went to lecture me about how if I went to a Humvee dealership I wouldnt ask for a Prius. It seems as though they have a fairly decent selection of old games but I was so put off by the condescending attitude of the people working there that I couldnt leave fast enough and I guarantee I will never be back nor will I refer my friends. And to the people that were working there at this time fyi I I worked for a car dealership and if someone came in asking for a Prius and a Humvee dealership we would find them a Prius. As a business owner your job is to sell customers what they want to try and convince customers that theyre idiots.

I started off pretty happy to have a retro gaming store, but as time went on I realized that its basically Internet prices. Sure, you can have the product in your hands instantaneously compared to online, but that would mean youd have to interact with the shop owner and his employee (whos always blocking the NES aisle). Which brings me to my next point: god forbid youre there to listen in on any conversations/debates on anything at all, because theyre usually all one sided and condescending and if you have a different opinion or outlook on things, youll get to see how douche bag-like things can get. We get enough of that on the Internet and it sucks to be in that environment locally. Im done going there and recommending the place. He has a decent selection, but the Internet has an infinite one. He has, mostly, equal prices to the Internet and at times way more expensive (and good luck trying to reason with him). On some things, he may have knocked prices down a couple bucks, but thats irrelevant if you shop around on the Web and take advantage of deals on the products themselves and shipping deals.

When you are a business that caters to the rich collectors, it shows. I asked about a used new Nintendo 3ds (I hope) that was in a case for $290 and my girlfriend asked about 3ds games which were said some of which were priced about $45-50. He said the price was due to demand and supply. First off these games are literally more expensive than buying new on Amazon. Second after checking, the price is roughly the same or slightly higher than online for the 3ds. Third this isnt even the retro part of the store. Everything is overpriced which is sad because nobody else in Yakima consistently carries the great old stuff. I will not be going back. As a poor lover of the old, I will slowly find the bargains. Also the walking space was pretty tight because there was so much overpriced stuff out in the way.

Good selection of old school games and consols, but the owner leaves things laying around then gets mad when you touch them. Why are you leaving toys and collectibles laying out if they are not for sale and you dont want people to touch them? The employee that was there was very nice and helpful while the owner was rude and disrespectful. Also no Playstation 2 game should $40. Very high on prices and one game will say $7.00 then you find the exact same game on the same shelf for $10.00. Would not recommend.

I have been buying several items from that store for a few months. Just now, I ask for a PS2 controller and he mentions the type. Then hangs up on me. I wait 5 minutes and call him back. He gives several sad excuses and acts like the connection is bad. Alex the owner is a terrible customer service person. I will never go back to this store again. Ever. Hanging up on customers is the worse type of service ever. Even if he or she is buying a $5 or $10 item.

Ok collection in games.... No dreamcast.... Really expensive compared to online And every time Im in there.... The guy who works there seems to be hustling little kids outta their money but hey I understand its a business.... Buy never once have they done this to me.... Only the kids... So parents go with kids...but either way I need an old controller they usually have it other than that..... Poor

Have terrible variety. I went in with a list of 37 games I wanted and they didnt have a single one. Also, they dont stick to their schedule; they have their own agenda for I have been disappointed to drive down there and have it be closed an hour early (and no it wasnt a Sunday and I even checked on Facebook to see if an employee was possibly sick again).

Way to expensive! wow, I literally just walked in, saw a nes, anywhere else is 40-50$, 1 up gaming has them for 100$+. Look online everyone, u can get them cheaper. Im a collector, trust me when I say they are ripping you off! I hate businesses like this. Trying to take advantage of people!

Idk why some ppl may have said that debating and such is one sided...you didnt come there to debate you came to look at the selection and buy things like any other store. So far the owner and employee have been nothing but nice to me and I would recommend this place. Keep up the good work

Open limited hours. Was going to go there on a Sunday closed. Was going to go Monday closed. Came in on lunch hour on Tuesday closed. So just bought was going to get on amazon. Old snes and final Fantasy 3

Not a good verity of games. Same price or higher for game systems that are used. Other retailers offer referbished systems with a warenty for cheaper
