This is a great place to shop for beer, wine and spirits in Vancouver; its huge. The new liquor laws in Washington have increased most of the prices of Spirits way beyond what they are in Oregon, but there are some values here. Where they really shine is in there selection of beers, wines and mixers. Theyve got great prices on vermouth, Cocci Americano, tonic water and other high end mixers. The selection of wine is very broad. They have a lot of house brands that are exclusive to the Total Wine Chain and most of them seem to be pretty good values for the money. They have more Rhone wines than Ive ever seen in one place. They also have a high tech growler fill station with 24 choices that purges and tops your growler with CO2 for a high quality fill and the choices are reasonably priced. My only complaint about the growler fill area is there is no sampling of the choices, but I was told they would be having a few choices to sample in the near future. There are beer and wine sampling opportunities on weekends. Check their Facebook page for whats going on. My only complaint about the place is that some of the staff is clueless about the products, but thats tempered by their friendliness and willingness to help you find an item if you know what youre looking for.

Total Wine = Total let-down Unbelievable. Ordered a pony and half a keg of a nice summertime beer for a large (60 person) family gathering and received a call just prior to picking up the order ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT, that the brewery they sent the request to didnt have the ability to fill that order. So sorry. Too bad. I spoke with the Total Wine Manager and she just shrugged her shoulders and she was really sorry. Im sorry, shes sorry, we are all sorry. FYI for any of you who get your hopes up that Total Wine can actually fill your keg order... be prepared to be disappointed the day its supposed to arrive. What a terrible system. In haste, I called BevMO and they had an excellent selection of pony kegs available for immediate sale within in the store! What a concept! Save yourself the surprise of being let down and just head to BevMO. .

Ive been a patron of total wine for some 8 years. There selection of wine is amazing - even though they dont carry one of my favourite and somewhat difficult to find varietals, fiano. Their beer selection is also impressive and has grown over the years. I love that the staff share some of their favourites, which can help you over time to choose wine rated by a "real person". Over time, you can find out which employees you identify best with as far as pallet. The floor personnel are super friendly and helpful. The cashiers Ive encountered at this location arent the most warm or friendly, but my overall happiness with shopping here is high. Definitely recommend.

Great staff! Very attentive and professional without being too "in your face". Whenever we mention this place to someone, even when at a local grocery that sells alcohol, we consistently get the response: "Oh, I LOVE Total Wine!!" On the last trio, was able to locate a yummy coconut liquor called Shipwreck. And when asked if they had AGWA in Stock, they informed us that it was no longer available(discontinued) via the previous vendor. This is info most places dont have and even though we werent able to purchase it, left feeling like we were given some exclusive info not otherwise available. Thank you, Total Wine, you really are Awesome!

We went there searching for a beert called Purple Haze and they had it. I also made inquiries bout other beers, and they looked them up on their computers, but unfortunately did nto carry Black Diamond or Snow Plow, but they recommended an alternative milk stout. Anyway, they are , in my opinion a littel high in price, but then again they have a staff of people in their huge store to help you and advise you on findign what you want or migh tlike. The store location was formerly a Big Lots, so imagine a store that size that only sells wine, beer and spirits. Their priorities of focus seem to be in that order.

Love this place! They have tastings on the weekends, its great to try a wine or a spirit before you have an entire bottle of it. Their wine selection is very expansive, its so easy to find something new to try or just pick up my favorites. They have local WA & OR favorite brews and fill growlers, which is great. Every time I have been in there they are so helpful and knowledgeable about what I am looking for. I completely recommend Total Wine for all your libations and party goods, just be prepared to spend sometime shopping...lol

Prices on liquor are reaonable, and selection cant be beat anywhere else town. Most of the employees are knowledgeable about liquor, wine or beer. They have suggestions for both the best amd beat on the cheap. Theres rarely ever a line to wait in. The growler fills are considerably more expensive than most places. I assume this is to help pay for their fancy vacuum filling maching. I fill mine elsewhere. For liquor, this place is my favorite.

For what it is, for wine, if you know what youre looking for, this place is awesome. Maybe more wine than Vinopolis? You wont find the level of knowledge one does in reputable wine shops, its a liquor store. But its hard to beat the prices, better even than Costco at times. And its really hard to beat the selection. Bring your Oregon ID and get it tax free (sales tax that it, the lame hard alcohol tax still applies to spirits).

My visits here are almost always for beer. The bottle selection is fantastic and is constantly revolving for seasonal options. The growler fill station has a lot of options, about 20 I believe, though none of the growlers I have are compatible with their machines - only the slim neck glass growlers work - so that is a little discouraging. Places in Portland are better, but this is tops for the Couve.

Total Wine is a premier beer, wine and spirits spot. Their prices are good on a lot of items and they have so much inventory you can find anything you want! Beers from all over the world. We spend an hour or 2 in here pretty easily on each visit. I like it so much I got a gift certificate for my birthday here! They have small snack and food specialty items. Wine tasting here often too!

I should probably give more stars, because I keep going back to get local liquer not found elsewhere.....but, the staff was either un-educated about their wares, or snooty. If Im trying to find a certain liquer, just be helpful, try your best. I dont care if you dont know, but try. And dont act like you are better than me just because you are selling whiskey you can never afford.
