These guys, in a nutshell, are just a big barrel of Awesome!!! I dont think there is anything negative I could possibly say. While this isnt my neighborhood liquor store, I do have some friends that live very close by, so Ive found my way into this place numerous times in the past, and just always love how cheerful, kind, and helpful the staff have always been, especially Jo-T., who I believe might be one of the proprietors. Shes just a bundle of joy to work with and she exemplifies that very essence of what customer service is supposed to be. This is very much a service industry (with the liquor stores), and with so many options out there, I like to give my business to places where I feel like I am treated right. Would definitely recommend this place in a heartbeat.

This is your average, run of the mill liquor store. Nothing special. In fact, the staff isnt very helping at all. No words were spoken to me when I entered. I knew what I was looking for, but thats beside the point. When I reached the counter, a man rushed in and went directly to the liquor behind the counter. The lady ignored me and helped him first. Then rang him up even though my stuff was already on the counter. I guess they prioritize by how much a customer spends? I got in and got out and wont return anytime soon.

Super friendly ladies in there that are knew exactly what to recommend for my Hot Buttered Rums. They are a new favorite with the Black Strap Rum. This was my first time to this store and I was impressed. Of course it was packed on Christmas Eve when I went and it was running smoothly. The line was running quickly and the shelves were getting stocked. And like I said above, they still had time to ask each customer how they could help them and offer recommendations! This will now be my "go to" store! Thanks!

This is the best liquor store on the eastside of Portland. Its beautifully remodeled and very large which allows them to carry a wide selection of scotch, bourbon, rum, gin, and other spirits that most other stores dont. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to assist with a selection. They can also place special orders for hard to find products. Highly recommended. Jake

Got to love the FREE samples of flavored Vodka. I dont think it is all the time but it has been for 2 out of 3 times Ive been there in the last couple months. Actually found one I loved that I would have never bought. Staff is very nice, store is very clean. Plus Safeway is right there for the rest of your party needs.
