My wife and I have gone to Andrew Farmer several times, following him from where he worked at Triple Crown to his new shop, Stronghold Tattoo. We chose to follow him because he is exceptional at producing simple, clean neo-trad and American traditional style. His lines are clean and designs well constructed. As far as busting out a clean tattoo with little to critique, he is one of the VERY FEW artists in the area I would go to with 100% trust. Outside of the artwork, I would hate to use the term "family friendly" for a tattoo shop, but Andrew has shown to us that he is a shop owner focused on providing for his kids and keeping his business clean of drugs or behaviors that would diminish the quality of your tattoo. At the heart of it, Andrew and Alicia are two quality artists that are serious about their careers and fun to be around. I can only think of one other shop this side of the Cascades I would consider getting a tattoo above these guys, and they are booked out 6 months. So this is your shop for walk ins and appointments alike.

Andrew did an amazing job tattooing my finance and I with these cheesy slices of pizza. Sharp colors and great line work. Even with being a little late to our same day appointment he took the time to make sure the drawing wad exactly how we wanted it to be. As well as stayed laye to gst us both done on the same day. Super cool dude who didnt mind us even eating pizza while getting them done. Also put on Netflix for us to watch while we waited (: In love with our tattoos and they healed really well. Highly recommend to anyone in the Kitsap area who wants to get a dope tattoo. Id give this place more stars if I possibly could.

Ive had all three of my tattoos done by Andrew. I constantly get complements and am asked if the tattoo on my outer arm is new when its already 8 months old. His colors are bold and his line work is always on point. Hes a great artist and a great guy. The shop also has a fantastic view of the water. Its gonna kill me to find a new artist when I move.
