Up until recently I have gone to Emerald City Auto on Hwy 99 to get all of my service done...but they basically, well...SCREWED ME. I should mention that I bought my car from Emerald City Auto and 8 months later the transmission fell apart....then 9 months later the timing belt went...EEGAD!) Several months ago they sent me to Daves Trans Service (LOVE DAVE AND DAVE JR!!!) to rebuild the transmission in my 2003 PT Cruiser, when my car broke down again last month, I assumed (incorrectly) that it was the transmission. I called Emerald City Auto and they had me tow to Daves. When Dave looked at it, he said it wasnt the transmission, it was the timing belt...YUCK! So I called Emerald City Auto to see what it would take to fix it Basically, Jim at Emerald City Auto told me that he doesnt work on cars any more. I asked him to refer someone for me and he said...YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN! The best thing Emerald City Auto did for me is to refer me to Dave and Dave Jr. at Daves Trans Service...they are wonderful! I called Dave, a little tearfully, (since my car was there) and he went into "overdrive" trying to find someone to help me out. He was amazing and kind and generous. When he couldnt find anyone who could help me out...he and his son (on their own time) fixed my car for me at a price I could afford. I LITERALLY feel like I met a couple of angels in these men. I HIGHLY recommend their services. Heck...I want to bake them a cake! Many blessings to them!!!!

I hesitate to leave a 1 star review because I just seem like a bitter customer, but listen to my story. I thought I was treated well. I left feeling good about my experience. That feeling was short lived. Robert flat out lied to me. I pointed out that the tires and brakes on the vehicle I was interested in were in bad shape. He agreed on the tires, but said that the front brakes were "50 percent" and the back brakes were "good". He said they visually inspected the front brakes and used the parking brake to check the rear brakes. The brakes were squeaking, but I was emphatically told that the brakes were in good shape. 1500 miles later and I just completed a complete brake job front and back. I took the wheels off and the front brakes were 25-30% and the rear brakes were 15-20%. I did the job myself so I was only out $250 and a good amount of time, but if I didnt do my own work I would be out over $1000. The check engine light has come on a number of times also. This is the short version of all the inconveniences. Do not believe anything they say and STAY AWAY!

I first learned about Emerald City Auto while searching for a pick-up truck online. They had just what I was looking for and the best price I found anywhere. I talked to Robert on the phone. He was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Based on the information he gave me, decided to purchase the truck without seeing it. Since I live in Wisconsin, this meant doing a wire transfer to pay for the truck and booking a flight to Seattle to bring it home. Robert was very friendly and helpful throughout the process. He even drove down to the airport to pick me up when my plane arrived. The truck was just as described. Before I left, he gave me some helpful information about places to visit in the city. I drove all the way home without any trouble. Ive put 20,000 miles on it since then and its been a great truck. Highly recommend this dealership!

FANTASTIC SERVICE! I had never been to Emerald City Auto before, but finally checked it out to test drive some vehicles around Christmas and had a wonderful experience. I was allowed to peruse vehicles at my leisure and test drive without any pressure. It was an awesome first venture out on my car buying process since I was nervous to start looking around and dealing with dealershipos. I happen to know one of the salesman there and he was not only laid back with my auto buying process, but gave me a ton of useful information to use as I went on to other dealers. Thank you!

A great experience! We drove over 100 miles to Emerald City Auto because we couldnt find a good worktruck anywhere locally. They had tons! All in reasonably good condition, and Robert was very helpful getting us information on the pros and cons of different trucks. No pressure, and he was patient as we took several hours to make up our minds. We bought a Dodge Dakota, its running great!
