My ex-wife tells me the family has used Danielsons for a long time. I am told that, for the most part, the experience has been positive. So it was with some degree of confidence that my daughter took a very large pink-tourmaline pendant, set in a large gold bezel, for appraisal of gold. She told the attendant at the store that the unusually large and deep-colored pink stone was a tourmaline. The attendant argued with her and told her it was garnet. When I reported this to my GIA-certified business partner, with whom I purchased the gem rough & who cut and faceted the stone, stated "Its pretty hard to confuse a tourmaline and a garnet in a larger stone." Also, why would a counter attendant argue with a customer as to the authenticity of a gem stone, which he is clearly not qualified to appraise? All my daughter wanted was to sell the gold and keep the stone. The manager/owner is not managing his help If these shannigans are going on. If there was a rating of less than one star, that would be my rating. I recommend avoidance of this store.

I was immediately helped by a very friendly employee. My watchs broken link was repaired within a few minutes while I browsed their pleasant store. I was thrilled that my watch didnt have to be sent away, that I could simply walk right in their store and immediately have my repair taken care of. When my repaired watch was handed back to me, I was told that a number of the other links were loose and they were tightened for me. I was shocked when the employee told me there would be no charge! I asked her again what I owed, in disbelief that they would repair my watch for free since it was not a brand they carried and so they knew it had not been purchased at their store. I am thrilled by their efficiency and kindness.

Danielson Jewelers is a place to avoid. They will charge you twice for the same repair. If you own an expensive watch drive to Seattle to get it serviced. If you complain about the service expect to face "redmond" intimation - which is like a feather hitting a jet. Skip the place.

I dropped in to have my watch band repaired and they greeted me courteously. The problem was dealt with professionally and my watch was back on my wrist in no time. When I asked the cost they said "Catch you next time!!". Friendly service and a good deed makes for a happy customer.
