Although I believe this clinic means well they do not provide the services that I need. I have so much pain from arthritis that I am crippled and my quality of life has diminished completely. I cannot clean or cook or anything without extreme pain. I am a prisoner of my bodily pain. Now I have painful dental issues without insurance. I was told my kidney function is abnormal and have left kidney pain. Why would these doctors not provide pain therapy medicine for me is unbelievable. Id like everyone of them go thru my daily pain first hand. I asked for a reference for a new doc that could help me and was refused. Now my husband was diagnosed with 3rd stage lung cancer on top of his congestive heart failure, kidney failure and diabetes and I need to be his support and Im overwhelmed with my own health problems without any relief. Im going to the Immediate care to seek help for myself next and then to the hospital. Im not an addict of drugs either. And the ones who screwed up the pain relief for a person like me that really needs it badly just make me so mad and you guys go get help from rehab and stop ruining treatment for the people that really need it and who are not looking to get high!!!

Ive been here 3 times, once with my fiance and other 2 times with my newborn. Never got out in less that 2-3 hours. They arent as friendly as any other place Ive gone to for care. I asked for rubbing alcohol and a qtip for my babys umbilical cord stump and they told me they dont have any... how does a hospital not have any rubbing alcohol and qtips!? They poked my daughters foot 5 times to draw blood. Drawing her blood took over 30 minutes alone. I was supposed to get her test results from the on call nurse Saturday for her bilirubin levels that they drew her blood for friday. They never called.. here it is Tuesday now. I had to bring her in to get her weight checked so they gave me her results today. Her appointment for a simple weight check and blood draw was at 10:30 I just got out at 12:45. I was ten minutes late and they almost made me reschedule, yet have us sitting there our whole 2nd half of the morning. Im done with this place. Never will I advise anyone to go here. Will be finding a new clinic for her to be seen for her 2 week old check up.

This is my second time coming here. I feel very lucky to be patient here at Peninsula Community Health Services. Every single staff member I have interacted with has been compassionate, friendly, and patient. My primary care doctor, dr. Ortiz, really advocated for me and put in the leg work to get me in with a specialist that I needed to see. Ive had nothing but great experiences and I would highly recommend it. Im a Tricare beneficiary, for the record.

A compassionate, competent group of people, not-for-profit. Ive been there a while now. My doctors are the best and are clearly not in it for the money - they genuinely want to help people. Never a hesitation to make specialist referrals or consider my own homework I do towards finding meds that work for me. Office staff always right on target with attitude and efficiency. Would not leave unless I had to. ❤️

Wow. Ive been a nurse for 30 years and have never been treated so poorly, ever. All the good care givers leave pretty quickly due to the mismanagement. Absolutely no respect for patients time or illness. I have sat in the waiting room for 2½ hours several times, they even have the nerve to demand you come in 15 mins early. Horrible. Disrespectful. Mismanaged. Youll be much better cared for anywhere else.

NEVER expect to get in at your appointment time. The closest weve ever been to an appointment is half an hour past. The only person I like at the clinic works in the lab so we rarely get to see her. Everyone is very short with you and appointments are always rushed. If we had another option we would never come back here.

I made an appointment, was seen promptly. The issues I had were addressed totally to my satisfaction. In the interests of full disclosure I am a doctor, and now employed by PCHS. I sort of shopped them before applying for an open position because my previous clinic was a disaster.

Clean and friendly, punctual staff. Unfortunately, the hold time to schedule an appointment can be very long. Get ready to we your speaker phone and have something else to do while you wait.
