First of all let me make it clear that I do not normally write reviews but this time I feel that I must. A couple of years ago I was in need of some eye glasses and made mention about this fact to a coworker. Without hesitation she suggested Mercer Island Eyeworks. She stated that she absolutely loved this Dr. and she trusted him like no other. She also raved about their customer services and that they had plenty of frame choices making them my one stop for all my eyewear needs. You know what - ? She couldnt have been more right. Shees! Who knew you could get so excited over an optometrist? Just recently I noticed that my I might be in need of a new pair of glasses. And so, of course, I called Dr. Masciocchi (Mercer Island Eyeware). To be honest, I was curious if I would have the same customer experience, after all its been more than two years. Let me tell you that experience is what prompted me to write this review. If more businesses shared this kind of customer/patient care, there would be a lot more happier people in this world.

Ive been going to Mercer Island Eyeworks for 6 years, have gotten three pairs of glasses/sunglasses from them, and attempted to get contact lenses (didnt work out for me). What makes me so loyal is that they take my VSP insurance, have an excellent selection of premium eyeglass brands that always stand out in a crowd, and offer a 2-year lens warranty that I have used many times due to scratches and AR crazing. Dr. Masciocchi is very friendly and Ive never had a bad prescription from him. His staff is knowledgeable and friendly as well. I expect to be a customer for many years to come!

Of the doctors that i see annually, the best one is Dr. Masciocchi . He and his staff are always willing to help and more importantly listen to my needs as a customer. The office is immaculate and his staff are extremely helpful with picking styles for everyday glasses and sunglasses. I never feel pressured to buy and they are always willing to find me glasses that they may not have on the shelf. And they always make me feel like im their most important customer. Everyone in the store is incredibly helpful. I do a lot of traveling and have a pair of ICI Berlin frames that bend and even unsnap with pressure. At least once a trip overseas, they unsnap rather than break and I now carry a video of someone in M.I. Eyeworks putting them back together in less than 20 seconds. Not one overseas optician has been able to do it in less than 10 minutes til now! They are the best people you could ever work with.

Wonderful experience! Ive been coming here for over 5 years. Love this place! Dr. Masciocchi and the staff are very friendly and helpful.The store always has the coolest frames that you wont find anywhere else. They really work to ensure you are getting the best deal from your insurance, while also making sure that you love your new glasses or contacts. Highly recommend this place!
