Great people! Great place! Great food! If they dont have it theyll get it or tell you how to get it. Your "Pay it forward" program went in to full effect the day after you anounced it to your Employees. The following morning we found ourselves a little short and instead of making us leave and come back with the rest of the funds; the cashier pulled the cash out of her pocket and paid the balance due. Wish I could remember her name it began with a "T" What more can one say except please keep the little Lemon Cakes. Thank you, A very appreciative Customer

This is a seriously nice grocery store, especially considering youd expect a mom & pop shop with overpriced gas station food. Theres a bulk section, deli where you can make/customize sandwiches, and just about everything else youd want food wise, except, sadly, sushi (not even the pre-packaged kind). Prices are decent, and the quality was impressive. We stopped here for food before hitting the beach, and it was well worth it. Definitely go in if youre hungry or need to stock up on food while passing through.

The employees are helpful and they even special ordered something for me! Bulk foods are great here, and I love their many options of produce to choose from. Theyve got free coffee, a large wine selection, good deli options, and the store is always clean when I go there. You pay for quality and Ive found a high quality at the goose. The goose also gives back to the community a lot and I love that about them.

Best bulk department on Whidbey Island. Employees actually offer to help without you having to ask first. They offer case discounts, even for items already on sale. They sell the best local bagels, from The Bagel Factory. Complimentary coffee while you shop. Easy parking. Without writing down data, Id estimate that prices are more or less comparable to other south island grocery stores.

There are a few places on south whidbey to get groceries. The Goose is a pretty well-stocked grocery, and fairly close for a lot of residents. The size of the store limits what variety they can carry. You would have to go into Freeland to find a larger store with a wider variety of foods.

I do love Mom & Pop establishments and when you think Mom & Pop you think more expensive vs. franchises but not true. Good prices, fresh produce, good meats, large grocery selections and the feel of a small business that has all you need.

On the Southern end of Whidbey Island, this is the better of the grocery store options. Its not so expensive that you have to be concerned with bringing everything with you on a trip. The store feels newer and parking is plentiful.

A great selection of grocery. My mother-in-law has celiac disease and can find just about anything gluten free. They have a good produce section. Their deli always has a good variety of fresh hot food. Great customer service!

They are always wonderfully attentive and have most of what we need, but the prices are much higher than Safeway in Oak Harbor, so we usually go there for our in between needs when we dont want to drive all the way to Oak Harbor.
