I bought a Garmin echoMap 44dv from this store. Took it out, the first day it worked like a charm. 2nd day, it wouldnt even turn on. I tried everything I could think of. Called garmin customer support and they told me to pursue getting a new one through West Marine. The guys at West Marine said they would do that so I brought in the unit as well as my battery and cables to ensure I got everything working properly before I left. Still had problems getting the new unit to work and the guys there helped me figure out if had it wired wrong. We fixed the wiring and I was out the door with my original unit fully functioning. The customer service here is exceptional and I will continue to give them my business. Many thanks to the gentlemen at West Marine, Gig Harbor.

This branch of West Marine has greatly improved their service with new people who care about boaters. There is no comparison with a few years ago. There are too many small stores and services closing in the Harbor. Give them a chance and you will not be disappointed.
