I had just finished picking out jeans and started looking at tops, when i was approached by a vallue village employee. She asked me to leave the store. That was it. When i asked why she gave me no reason. I wasnt shopplifting, or dammaging anything, in fact i have 247$ in my wallet and simply wanted a new outfit. Her reason for asking me to leave was... "we dont need a reason to refuse service, so i want you to leave" im not wearing my backpack, as if that makes judging me ok, or makes her better than me. Im not sure what she thinks of me, and thankfully dont care. I know the beauty i have in me, my self worth is not affected by her judgments of me. I feel sorry for her, as i wonder how often she limits herself by refusing to see peoples inner light shine. To miss out on all that beauty is to high a price. Hate wears heavy on the soul. Hate is ugly, believe me, that darkness cant be disguised. Seems painful and lonly, but thats your cross to bare, so You keep hating, im gonna keep lettin my good light, radiate and shine.

First off, I come here very frequently and usually I have a few bags with me... (from shopping , etc...) and I have always been told to just keep my bags in my cart... tonight after shopping for a hour I was approached by an employee and told my bags needed to go behind the register.. I explained that I was always told to hold my bags , they were not responsible for them and they insisted it wasnt true. I, of course, have no problem putting my bags behind the register but was just informing them of past practices. After that, I felt very uncomfortable even shopping because the employees started to follow me like I was trying to steal. Needless to say, I put everything om the cuter and said I would not be purchasing ANYTHING tonight or any other night after this. Also, their prices have skyrocketed and they are defiantly NOT the bargain shoppers dream that they used to be.... Ill take my business to the Good Will. Thank you

I was at the Everett Value Village the other day and the 50% off was Yellow. I sat and watched two employees going up and down the clothes isle pulling items with yellow tags early in the morning and throwing them in shopping carts. Only a few items they pulled from the reacks had other colors. I guess so mabe to throw off shoppers. What a complete scam that is!!!! Have a sale with yellow tags and pull them off early in the morning? I had an idea they did this but was horriified when I actually saw this with my own eyes. Wow!! I will never go back.

Im usually scared to go into a Value Village because of the smell but this one doesnt bother me. Not sure if the other reveiwers were just there on a bad day but Ive had the exact opposite experience. I DONT recoil when I walk in and in fact Ive been pleasantly surprised at the variety of clothes, toys, kids stuff, and housewares. You do have to bypass some stuff that is overpriced but Ive gotten some great deals here - AND the stuff did not smell when I brought it home. :)

I am torn between 3-4 stars because the staff for surely the amount of negative things that go on there given the location are for the most part nice and friendly. On the other hand they do charge way to much for a lot of stuff. And their outlook on "department store names" is as if they themselves were the department store. Than again I have also gotten so good deals there too.

GREAT DEALS, GREAT EMPLOYEES, GREAT FUN . IM HOOKED!!! Went in looking for a nice pair of Levis and a black dress shirt and found exactly that . Hardly used , not faded , still stiff. then the fun began . They have this half price on these different color tags on different days. I got a bunch of Printed T-shirts in excellent condition and the staff was so nice and helpful .

Well, I was born and raised here, that place used to be Shop n Save, and was bought out by Value Village some years back. The stench is fairly bad as noted by one of the other commentators. Also, even worse and also mentioned already is the prices are WAY out of control, half of the clothes you can get at wal-mart for less and that will be brand new....

I thought I would give the Value Village a try...I thought wrong. I lasted about 2 1/2 minutes! There is this horrid smell, like dead skin and rotten feet... Shop there if you must...but if you have a choice, spend the extra money, shop somewhere else and save your nose from a terrible experience.

As far as thrift stores go, this one tries hard. They bring in a lot of new stock for Halloween and have a ton of costumes both new and used. Theyve got lots of packaged wigs and accessories to go along with them. The costumed teens they have running the section are helpful and a delight.

Nice selection of clothes and staff are very helpful but theres always alot of excess noise and some of the people that are in there are pretty grimy looking. The clothes are overpriced and not very well organized but i like that the parking lot is big and theres never a wait in line.

For one it used to be a great place to get old school games like NES and Sega. Now your lucky to find only DS games. Oh and dont return anything unless you plan on getting something else off their shelf even if its under the amount they will not refund anything back to you.

Of coarse lots to choose from. Great discounts. Clean and well organized. The bathroom were closed. Stating due to remodel but from previous visits its more from being misused and unkempt. The staff was helpful in directimg me where I can find what I was looking for.

I see a lot of negative reviews, im not sure about those experiences, but mine have all been great. The employees are all helpful and it sure beats paying retail for clothes. I can purchase a couple of complete outfits for what i would pay for a shirt at the mall.

Good place to hunt for inexpensive stuff. The donation center is a bit questionable as MANY times when I have been shopping I have heard things crashing and or breaking in that area of the store. Clearly the receiving team does not give a damn about the donations.

Honestly they have great stuff and most of the staff is nice but its frustrating when you have two kids shopping with you and there bathroom is being worked on for the last 4 months! Like really? And there wasnt any evidence to show its under construction.

The prices are way too high for used, beat up stuff that is seeing the end of its life, they should be charging yard sale prices for these things, NOT brand new retail store prices!

Love this store. You can find unexpected treasures here and the people who work there are really nice. This is usually my one-stop shop for creating Halloween costumes, too.

Staff here is always super helpful when I drop off donations. Inside of the store is clean, well organized, and has a vast number of good deals.
