I would love to say I have had a good expereince, sadly, the Covington, WA Walmart pharmacy is one I will never be revisiting, at 2pm on wed 04/29 My dr called in a perscription to Walmart covington pharmacy, I went to pick it up at 7 and it was not ready. 2 hours they sd. I sd I would be back the next day, before I was going out of town. i came in the next day and the pharmacy was closed. I called the Auburn one and the sd the Covington store did not enter it in and therefore I could not pick it up form there. I was on my way to go camping in the Quinault forest 4 hours away, and I needed this perscription. My dr was in a procedure all day and could not be reached. I was forced to spend 5 hours of my vacation, looking for a Walmart in Shelton Wa, getting my perscription filled, I called the Covington Walmart to ensure they had it ready for the Shelton store to pick up and transfer and fill, they sd it was, I get there and find it was not and i had to wait another 40 min. If the Covington store can not provide a service, they should not offer it.

I needed to buy a hair dryer, but all of the hair dryers were locked up in a glass display case. I searched around for an employee to unlock the case, to no avail, so I asked the lady at the pharmacy to please page someone, which she promptly did. I returned to the display case and waited and waited. Again, I asked the same lady to page for help, which she gladly did. And again, I waited and waited, to no avail. By this point, I am becoming quite perturbed, so I decided to go to customer service, but there were about 5 or 6 people in line. All I wanted was to purchase a hair dryer! I then noticed a man in a yellow vest, so I figured he might be a manager, so I asked him to unlock the case. Finally I was able to get the dryer. What should have taken ten minutes, took over a half an hour. Ridiculous! If you are going to have something locked up, have someone around to unlock the case.

Huge store, with a gigantic parking lot. This store has always been very clean, well stocked, with a great selection of items. Its a Walmart Supercenter, so you literally can find just about anything here. Except for an employee. For some reason, with all the space they have, there seems to be very few employees available. Lately Ive been using the site-to-store pickup, and it has taken an average of 15-20 minutes just to get someone to the pickup desk. If you do stumble across an employee on your way down the aisles, they are usually on their way to do something else, and may be too busy to help you. This location may not be as close for you, but it is better than the locations in Renton or Factoria and might be worth the drive for a big shopping trip. Customer service could use some work, but if you dont need assistance to find anything, you should be fine.

I called before I left my house (23 miles away) and after about eight rings, someone picked up. I asked if they were "open for business" and was informed that indeed they were. I went to the counter to exchange my bedding (some of the pieces were missing) and was told that I could not do an exchange until 7AM (it was 6AM). I informed the employee that I had to go to work and this was very important I take care of this (the replacement bedding might not be there when I got back) and he spoke with another employee who also told me I could not exchange until 7AM. The thing is, I called to ask if they were open for business in advance because by the time I go back, I will have driven to and from there twice (92 miles!). Had I known they would not do my exchange, I would not have wasted my time driving there this morning.

I always go to walmart. USUALLY the people are very nice. Today Friday December 18, 2015 around 4:30 or so, my brother called me and asked me to call customer service to see if theycould get another associate to go to laelway. First off he had to wait 20 min at customer service for them to send him back to laelway then when when i calledd walmart the lady who answered was extremely rude. My brother has ptsd and cannot wait for that long because he gets anxiety. The lady was very rude and spoke to me as if i were stupid. when my brother was finally helped at laelway they told him they dont do that anymore. The lady on the phone never said that and when we asked a manager she said they were still doing it. So not only was one lady rude but another lied. Terrible terrible customer service if you ask me.

I waited for an hour in electronics to get help (assistance) from an associate in hopes of finding an attachment for my vehicle for my smart-phone. I found it myself but couldnt find an electronics associate to help me check out, so I could pay and leave the store. When I asked other associates if they could contact the electronics associate they just shrugged and sighed. Folks looking to buy television sets asked me for advice and help, and I gave them my insight into what tv they should buy for their purpose - but still, no associate in electronics to help them get what they want, pay for it, and leave. Does Walmart in Covington actually want to lose money and customers on purpose? Its no wonder I quit working there after 2 weeks. They treat employees and customers like garbage.

The customer service at this location is pathetic, especially in sporting goods. The department manager Johanne was rude when we told her that we had been there for half an hour and two pages later. Once we expressed our dissatisfaction with the customer service and told her what we were looking for she barely turned to look and told us they didnt carry the product. If you dont have the man hours to back your store 3 days before Christmas your location should not be open. The lack of customer service in the sporting goods section is a constant problem not just a once in a blue moon occurrence. Your stores are lacking what you are always gloating about in your commercials. PATHETIC!

1- Does not price match their own website, if product is out of stock on website but they have the item in the store. I wanted to buy an item that was $129.95 on the website and $149.95 in the store. I took my business elsewhere. All around town the item was advertised on sale for $129.95, Walmart MGR wouldnt budge, so they lost the sale. Bottom line- check around for prices. Best Buy Matches and so does target. And 2 - they wont price match another walmart store. I wanted to purchase a styrofoam cooler. It was $5 at one store and $8.96 at another. Walmart (doesnt matter which store)- wont price match another one.

They have a lot of stuff, but it seems that some of the products arent being restocked in a manner that is keeping up with stock being sold. I went their to get some hair paste/gel and couldnt find the product I went for, I ended up going to another store and buying it their because at walmart, there was a large empty space where it would have been. I do still frequent this place due to them having a larger selection than others at a lower price, but it seems that it is more of a generic store now, nothing worth going to if you need something specific like hair gel/paste or something similar.
