Walmart was definitely a much better price overall! Mounting is FREE, Balancing per wheel is $9.00, And Every Single Tire they sell has the best warranty. Almost forgot to mention theres more Walmart locations than there are discount tire stores. As far as brands go, they pretty much have them all. You can simply peek at their website or download the Walmart App. You can even finance your tire purchase with a Walmart Visa or MasterCard. Why spend all this extra money on your tires, when you dont have to. Dont let these thieves scare you with crazy stories about what superior tires they sell at Discount tire and intimidate you with phrases like "I wouldnt put my wife and kids in a car with tires from there"... Thats how they get you and take your hard earned money. I have purchased a set of 4 (235/75R16) really nice looking tires that are awesome around corners, they are really smooth and quite on the road even on a trip to New Mexico and back driving long distances at speeds averaging 90 Plus Miles Per Hour. When I got back they still look and feel like brand new. All tires sold in the USA have strict DOT guidelines and rules they need to adhere to in order to be sold in AMERICA. (My truck is a 2003 Dodge Dakota 4X4) But if you only want brand names, Walmart has them all in stock or on their website. If their not in stock you can order them online or in store and they will be shipped to the Walmart location of your choice to have them Installed on your car. I hope this saves everyone tons of money...

I have always used discount tire. I have two vehicles and took both for their rotation and checks. First car, got the service. As soon as they gave me the keys i noticed my tires were sitting low. They assured me they were aired, but i insisted they gage them again. Figures, sitting low. Second car i took in two weeks later. They rotated and i asked very specifically to check the air. I was running late so i just left. Next day drove to work to seattle and steering wheel shaking side to side and car pulling. Gaged my tires and sitting 15 psi low on front. Took them in for a return service and made them rebalance my tires again and check. Watched through the window, sure enough no air checks... hmmm... once again got my keys returned by the same guy as the day before. Asked him to gage my tires, and he tells me they were done yesterday and should be fine. NO! Check again. Same tire sitting with same pressure as before. Double check them. Obviously since i was getting the free service, corners got cut. THREE TIMES! Ill still use them. I dont have time to do this myself. I like them, but lately speed seems to be more important than accuracy.

March 2013 I spent over $900 on four new tires and the "we replace it for free no questions asked" warranties. I took my car in to have a tire replaced and get told "we cant install one new tire on an all wheel drive vehicle". Apparently they dont want the liability if the transmission is damaged from the new tire tread being more than the other three. I tried to explain to them that it didnt make much difference since I was driving around for a week on a doughnut spare tire because their establishment doesnt stock the tires I bought!! And they said i was supposed to have an alignment done after I bought the tires. Thanks for telling me this since you dont do alignments at your stores! Moral of the story is: 1) dont buy extended warranties if you own an all wheel drive vehicle, wasting your money. 2) Take your vehicle to Les Schwab. Their tires last a lot longer, and they are equipped to do the job right the first time. Discount Tire will never see my business, nor that of anyone else I tell my story to again!

Went to go buy new tires and they didnt have the KO2s that i originally wanted so they sold me as per the salesman Kevin Nittos that were comparable. Well come to find out KO2s are 10 ply the Nittos 4ply so not even two weeks later back in there with another flat tire. So i go in to get the ko2s put on and order them and make an appointment for the next day at 430pm. I check in and they tell me it will be an hour and half wait just to get my truck in. I wasnt happy even more at this time. So i talked to the manager and said why did i make a 430 appointment if i have to wait that doesn t seem right well at this point they get me right in but i still had to wait over an hour and a half for them to get my truck done. Which half the time they werent even working on it. Customer service sucks !

I just went to get a tire changed to another rim, but the customer service is better at the store in lakewood. And to the last review, you need to "shave" the new tire down to the same size as your other tires or it will ruin your transmission/transfer case. Honestly, its the price you pay for all-wheel drive. Yes, they should have a machine that takes care of that, but you can take the tire to a place that does that and then bring it back and they will install it. Secondly, Les Schwab tires are the exact same tires, except more expensive.

Order my tires online and schedule the appointment at the same time for a week later for a Saturday. Received a call on Thursday to notify me that my tires came in and were ready for installation. And then the day of my appointment the gentleman at the counter was extremely helpful and nice he told us that it would take 1.5 hours to get it done and after 20 minutes they had my car done and ready to go a hole hour and ten minutes early. All and all I was extremely satisfied with my experience.

I called several places about replacing my tires. Every place i called either didnt have time to take my call or wanted a boatload of money. I called here & they not only had the tires in stock, they had several to choose from. They were very nice from the moment I walked into the store. I felt like I received the same pricing as everyone else. This is excellent since most places seem to inflate prices for women.

I came in because my air light kept coming on. The manager I first spoke with told me "well they need air." Thanks, I tried that! The two other guys who actually looked at my tires diagnosed the issue, fixed it and gave me a recommendation for how to avoid it in the future. I have always bought my tires at various Discount Tires but was put off by my initial interaction at this location.

I always go here for my tire needs. We drive Subarus, so keeping the tires balanced and rotated is essential, and they do both periodically for free. Great prices and selection. Whats not to like. Pro Tip: for the best turnaround time on rotation and balancing, go Saturday morning as soon as they open. Youll be out in less than half an hour.

I called right after they opened to see if I could come in because I woke up to a flat tire on my car. They said, "come on in, we accept walk ins all day!". I came in and they fixed it quickly and were friendly throughout the entire process. Great guys, Ill be back (hopefully not too soon).
