I drove all the way from Olympia, WA after being disappointed with the local running shoe store here. I went to Bonney lake where they watch your gait on a treadmill with a camera. They do the old school measuring of your feet as well. I had been in a light stability shoe with orthotics. After watching my gait, we realized i need to up my stability shoe even though I was using orthotics. There seemed to be only one floor person with 6 people in the store so I felt a little rushed to pick out my shoes due to it being so busy. I thought the shoes I picked out were a good fit to find out that once I got home, my heel slips in them even with the fancy shoe tie that prevents slippage. I went back to the store and I had two people who were very patient in helping me. I got to run outside the parking lot and tried on about 6 different shoes. They were sooo very helpful and knowledgeable. I knew these people were good at what they do because I ended up picking the first pair I tried on after asking for more. Their shoes run at full price as most running shoe stores do. The only thing on sale is last years models like all other stores. My philosophy is that you can buy three pairs of sale shoes...that may be last years models that you can be unhappy with or you can buy a good pair at full price with all the guarantees...this store lets you take them back no questions asked at anytime. That is how dedicated they are to finding you the perfect shoes.

I dont understand the hubbub about this store. Consistently overpriced (e.g., last seasons shoes at full price; Vomero +5 for $130, $79 elsewhere). Called ahead recently looking for a Blueseventy Reaction, and was told it was in. When arrived, asked for it, and was handed a Fusion. I had to point out that this was not a Reaction, and when they realized they didnt have one, they wanted to talk me into the Fusion. Im all for supporting the local running store, but seriously?

Stopped by the Bonney Lake shop for the weeknight run group while in town on business. The staff and runners were welcoming. I will definitely stop back in whenever I am in the area.

Yes you may be able to save $5 or $10 going to the big box store but you cant compare the service and the human interaction.
