Fantastic community market. I have lived in the Fan for about five years now, and its been wonderful to frequent this little store. Theyre open EVERY single day from 7 to midnight, they pack a LOT of variety into their space, have great deals on beer and wine, and I am still discovering new deli foods and interesting snacks every week (my favorites are their four bean salad, carrot cake and sesame noodles). I love that I can get craft beers here. Also the owners are really friendly and accessible, and happy to help with questions, finding things and even special orders. The sweet lady in their deli has been there for something like 20 years and my kid has grown up calling her the "nice strawberry food lady." It really rounds out the "local" living experience. Its a great feeling to stroll over to the neighborhood Market rather than gas up the SUV and trek out to a big box store.

Whats good: beer, wine selection; misc packaged food/snack selection; coffee; drink selection; friendly staff; location; hours. Whats bad: most of the food; no price tags; mostly high prices, but that is to be expected. The prepared food is generally very terrible; I wish they would completely redo the prepared foods section (better ingredients). If they served great food, this place would be a model shop. Also, I wish they carried local seasonal produce. The Fan is full of rich people and hipsters who would be willing to pay for good food (a la Olio) and local produce. However, food aside, this is a great neighborhood shop and the owner and his staff are very friendly people.

This place is my go to location for good snacks and for the nights that you realize you dont have a wine key. With a huge selection of beers and a kitchen in the back this is one of the few neighborhood markets that acts more as a micro-grocery store than just a corner store. I definitely recommend this location, especially if youre a fan of German Chocolate!

This place has a little bit of everything.. Great selection of craft beer, drinks, even some organic choices and small section of produce. Really clean, nice people. Love it!
