I used to be a regular customer at Goshen Market until I realized that Tony is a jerk. He has frequently charged me too much when Ive been under the influence, knowing that I wont notice until it is too late. Last night I went in to make a purchase and asked how he was doing. He responded by calling me disrespectful and rude. I literally begged him for ten minutes to try to figure out what I did and he kept belligerently repeating himself. I want to make this extremely clear that the confrontation was unprovoked against a former loyal customer. Tony has lost a loyal customer. By the way, Clay Market on Gilmer Street and Clay Street offers alcohol and other good at a much cheaper price. The owners are very friendly and are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you leave their store happy. Take my advice and stay away from Goshen Market.

Dont expect health food. Heavy on beer, snacks, and cigarettes. You might find some of the staples you need for a meal here, but it is typical of small markets of this class. The last time I was in the cashier was very friendly and helpful. The best Goshen Market has going for it is its location near VCU and its name.

Tony is a hard-working man and deserves the loyal customers that have stuck with him. People are saying that the prices in his store are too high; maybe thats because there are over seven 7-11 convenient stores within a mile of his store. Ive always enjoyed stopping by Goshen Mart and chatting with Tony.

This place is terrible. The cashier accused me of stealing and refused to show me my receipt after he charged me. He was rude and the product he sold me was extremely expired. Terrible.

Sweet store and even sweeter people! Great place to stop in and grab a snack or get those last minute forgotten items for recipe or cleaning. Good prices.
