A great place to stop in for organic and local ingredients: nuts, dry goods, milk, and a limited amount of produce. I recently tried their restaurant--Kickshaws Kitchen, accessible through the store--for breakfast, and it did not disappoint. My gluten-free, vegan waffle (unbelievably delicious) was topped with eggs, cheese, cilantro, guac, and sour cream. They also offer lunch with a variety of burgers and sandwiches. The baked goods in the case were very tempting, so I will need to return. A great option for those who want a fresh breakfast or lunch, whether you have dietary restrictions or not!

Kickshaws Kitchen makes really good food. I usually get the burger, which is grass-fed, and even though the bun is gluten-free it tastes really good. Sometimes you have to wait a long time to get your food. But everything Ive had here has been great (hummus wrap is also delicious), and although I dont need to eat gf I see the value in a place that specializes in it. The decor is also pretty cool - the tables are actually decorated with super old food advertisements in resin that are really fun (and sometimes hilarious) to look at with people! I think the owners might have made those themselves.

Great for getting specialty items. If you have a gluten allergy this place is probably fantastic. For vegan items its alright. Its not expensive, but its not cheap either. Wegmans and other grocery stores have better prices. I ordered a piece of the chocolate pie and a vanilla cupcake and I can make much better ones at home. Main thing is that the items are not well-labeled, and though you can ask, if you have an allergy its nice to know that the food for sure does not have that ingredient rather than leaving it up to a potential miscommunication.

I love Kickshaws Kitchen. Kathy and her team use the exact same ingredients I would at home (with the expert knowledge and recipes I could never make myself) so we leave feeling healthy. Nowhere else in town provides that kind of healthy, delicious food. And she makes her own gluten free sourdough bread; the dream food item for those of us with a wheat allergy! Check out their Downtown Market, too! Great stuff.

I gave a star for their excellent customer service, and a third star because if youre gluten free and/or vegan, its nice to have options. The market is fine, decent selection of overpriced goods. But their waffles are hit or miss, depending on what you order and who cooks. Waffles were undercooked, vegan cheese sucks, and spices not balanced and overpower the palate.

I ordered a cake from here for my daughter. We are vegetarians and ordered a cake accordingly. We tasted some of the veg options they offered and they seemed delicious. However, what was delivered tasted nothing like those samples. It tasted burnt and crumbly. Almost like they added icing to a granola bar. I will not be ordering from here again.

Can I just say THANK YOU! Finally a place where my whole family can enjoy a meal! My son and I have extreme food allergies and I am so tired of having to go to restaurants and explain why we need things left off, or we have to research their website just to figure out what mystery ingredients will make us sick! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

A haven for those that have special food needs or care about supporting locally grown/produced food. The owner is very knowledgeable and a great source of information about food substitutions if you have food allergies, food intolerances or are vegan/vegetarian. Nice selection of homemade and ready to go foods too!!

LOVE having the resources and high metabolic quality of food available to me all under one roof in downtown Fburg. Also love being able to send my clients to Kathy and KNOW they will be taken care of. So, so grateful!

Kickshaws new kitchen rocks! Their grass-fed beef burgers are out of this world! Try one and you wont want a burger from anywhere else anymore. Try it with home made gluten-free sour dough bread - hmmmmm.

I went here for the vegan options which were great. I got the nachos and breakfast sampler. I would come back if I was in the area. Only complaint the wait was about 15 minutes
