This mall is gorgeous! There is a little bit of construction going on, but it did not inconvenience the shopping experience at all. There is a store for everyone. Surprisingly, there are plenty of stores for men and seniors as well. The Nordstrom there has one of the better shoe selections I have seen to date. There is a WONDERFUL Italian restaurant by Dillards that gives huge portions with huge taste and very reasonable prices. The mall is outdoor, but the walking areas are covered, so if the sun is blazing or it is a little misty, you will be okay. I would suggest checking the weather before you go but that is of course common sense. I was surprised at the "tech" stores they have. The Apple store, Brookstone and a few others that you may enjoy. There are also a lot of little trinket shops that offer really interesting gifts and collectibles. There is plenty of parking, which is always a plus. I went on a Saturday afternoon around 1:00 and was able to get a close parking spot in the Dillards lot. The food court is small but around the mall there are ice cream shops, candy stores and plenty of actual restaurants. Although the mall is large and there is a lot of walking, there are PLENTY of benches inside and outside the stores for resting. I cant wait to go again!

Five stars you ask? Well, we got to see Charlie Puth for free here in the summer! There were other awesome singers and such in the summer as well. Thats not all though. This mall isnt just another mall, its an experience. You can walk around and bask in the beautiful scenery, as its an outdoor mall. It has tons of stores, from clothes, shoes, sports, furniture, electronics, cooking, restaurants, chocolate, makeup, jewelry, toys and more. The stores are pricey but there are also a few more affordable ones. They have renovated it recently and it has an elevator, gorgeous new fountains, an outdoor seating area, a giant chess set and wonderful holiday decor at this time of year. In the summer there are koi fish in the water and a bunch of beautiful plants and flowers. You dont have to buy anything to enjoy being at Short Pump Town Center. Its quite big so its easy to get lost in, especially if youre new to the mall (signs and maps are around however) There are two floors and a lot to explore. I love that you can only walk through it unlike other outdoor malls which are spread out and you have to watch out for cars. This is the ultimate mall in the area in my opinion. Ive been coming here for many years.

All told, its a great town center. While personally, the selection of stores isnt prolific or amazing, it does have most high end retailers, and a decent selection of places to eat. My two favorite places here to shop are The Buckle and The Limited, because of their absolutely amazing customer service! I also love the new Capital One Cafe, and all the places to sit, both upstairs and downstairs, especially the fireplace in front of Dicks Sporting Goods. I always get annoyed in malls where there arent enough areas to rest (seriously, if Im planning to shop all day, and as a business, isnt that what you want?, then you really need to provide seating). It gets crowded around holidays (especially Christmas), but generally its a great place to meet up with friends, get brunch or lunch and then go shopping for an hour or two, while enjoying the usually amazing Richmond weather!

A truly lovely outdoor mall with a wide selection of mid-range & upscale shops. If you have not yet been here, go on a nice day so you can wander through the courtyards between stores and be surprised by a variety of offerings: fountains with whimsical metal creatures, pergolas, a large chess board with plastic pieces each as tall as a small child, and a real train to ride on for the small kiddos. Theres a food court on the upper level and several restaurants. The anchor stores are Dillards, Nordstroms, Macys and Dicks Sporting Goods (as of 2016). Other great shops are Crate & Barrel, Yankee Candle, LUSH, Soft Surroundings, Godiva, SBUX, Eliz. Arden Spa, Ann Taylor, Williams-Sonoma, Chicos and so many more. The perimeter road around the central mall has many shops, nice hotels and restaurants/bars. Get ready for a great shopping experience here!

Beautiful, extremely clean and friendly atmosphere here in which to visit numerous shops. We have been here a few times now (visiting different shops each time) & have been very happy with our experiences. The security officers walking around are friendly & knowledgeable, and quick to help. I was experiencing some health issues on our first visit & was checked on in rather quick succession by a number of different security personnel even though I was just sitting and waiting for my shopping companion a couple of those times. This shopping area had numerous shops and a little something for everyone. Having a physical handicap, I appreciated the benches & other seating arrangements which arent spaced too far apart as they made my trip much nite comfortable. I anticipate being back to visit here many more times.

“Not your typical enclosed mall.. diff experience.. Collections are good” Short Pump mall is slightly diff from others mall, its open, roam around shops. Sit in the dedicated sitting areas which are covered with beautiful small gardens. They don’t have all the shops but whatever they have, have very nice collections but I am disappointed with the price as I went there on 4th July weekend and I did not find a great sale like cases with other malls. They don’t have a food court but very nice restaurants on the south side. Macys, Dick’s, Nordstrom, Apple, to name a few. I am not sure in winter how they operate as its open and in windy, it can be tricky. What I like most is, after getting tired, you can sit around the water fountain, gardens.

Havent gotten great service the last two times Ive been here. Slow meats, had to beg for drink refills, and asked for more bread and bananas, which we never got. Nobody else came around with water, etc. I have a VIP card which I paid for. The manager thought they did me a great favor punching it only 2x instead of 3 and charged me more than 50% for the 3rd meal. What if I dont come back? I have a toddler and just wanted to get out of there. I still tipped 20%, but wish I hadnt and I wont be buying a VIP card next year.
