To Pete, Rob, Bob, and the whole staff: Nice job. Richmond is a relatively small city, so as I would expect the actual number of beers they have is small to medium. BUT they have a great selection, showcasing the local breweries and even from those out West. They definitely have a great taste for beer. I mean, they carry some brews that you cant get out West. The staff as a whole is made up of some of the nicest people. I got so much stuff, mainly for my buddy, that they hooked me up all sorts of boxes and packing material so that the goods dont get damaged when I bring them over to his place. They even have weekly breweries come in for a tasting, I think, weekly on Fridays.

The owner of this business is a tool. He has insulted me , my wife and one of my employees. If you park in his lot he will harass you before you even get a chance to give him your business. There are quite a few shops in the area and limited parking, so people tend to park where they can. I was there to pick up some items from a store around the corner and had intended to go into Once upon a vine, on my way out. But then I was harassed by the owner so I just left and will never return.

Best place in the city to buy beer. The employees here know their stuff and are great at pointing you in the right direction. They also have an excellent wine selection and even all the proper glassware you need to enjoy your beverages. Pair that with some food from their gourmet selection and youre all set. The folks here really have thought of it all.

This store shares a parking lot with other local shops. I parked my car in front of store to shop the stores on this block and the owner actually came out of store to tell me to move my car...with no other customers in sight. Not friendly or inviting at all. I was embarrassed and will shop elsewhere. Run off by the owner!

Only wine store I know thats organized by price rather than vintage. Still, it works. And the beer selection is great, and dogs are allowed in the store but its not nasty, and the folks running the place are super helpful. Plus, they host a regular Spring festival on McArthur Street and give out free ice cream to the kids!

Love OUAP! This place is awesome. Wine and beer from all around the world and they are only 2 blocks from my house. Sometimes can be a little pricey depending on the rarity of the item. The owner and staff are super helpful and friendly.

Great selection. Not so sure about the handling/storage of some of the wine. Weve blind tasted identical wines from here and some other store and more than once wines from this place tasted very different, and NOT better.
