I went into this store today and loved it. The sales staff all greeted me warmly. They were not pushy or rude in any way. I found some great clothes from the 1950s/1960s era. They have such a big selection of dresses and skirts. I also purchased some beautiful original scarves. Then, I saw their jewelry. Oh my goodness! Beautiful! All of their clothing and jewelry were very very reasonably priced, when compared to online stores and Etsy stores. I cannot wait to wear all of the gorgeous things that I got there!! Just FYI, they do have two little dogs that are in the store, but they are good. I had my 8 month old godson and they only sniffed him once and left him alone. I LOVE this store. I hate that I live out of town! Thanks again Ladies!!!!

I dont like to write reviews for places where I dont buy anything, but I made an exception this time. Halcyon really does go back to the good ol days. The shopkeeper was attentive, but didnt follow you around. The clothes were high quality, but reasonably priced for what they were and, well, Richmond boutique prices. I couldnt find anything I wanted, though thats mainly due to my, uh, bust, being a tad smaller than what the dresses required. Theres also this sad-eyed little dog that wanders around and brightens up the whole place. Overall, while it may not be for everyone, Halcyon is at least worth a check-in, just to look around, try on some period clothing, and pet a soft little dog.

i have some antiques that i would like to talk to some one about, i know this is the wrong place to contact you but i couldnt find another way. I am going to give you my email address and would like you to contact me, some of the glass ware might not go over to well on the site. its a lot of glass waer all the furniture we will keep, but if your interested in these piecs i will send more pictures and maybe we can do business. Some are occupied japan some before the war ww2 and all the ones my grand mother bought she had sense to date when they were purchased. I have been shopping at Halcyon for the past 15 years and have always been impressed with the courteous, friendly service provided by the owner and her staff. The atmosphere is relaxed and the clothes are priced fairly. My favorite vintage store!

Halcyon makes vintage wearable! A great place to locate clothing that is hard to come by -- Ive bought white tie and tails, a white dinner jacket and a Savile Row overcoat over the years! Connie and crew are the bees knees.

This place is packed with vintage clothing. There is so much jammed in there that its a little difficult to browse through and unless you have unlimited patience and love shopping, its easy to get a little discouraged.

Best vintage shop in town! Got some blazers there Ive worn for years. Great for when you want to find vintage pieces that you can actually wear around, or a cool "new" party dress. And they have an Etsy shop now, yay!
