If I could leave 0 stars I would. The most ridiculous thrift store in the richmond area. Staples tags on the fabric clothes, completely ruining them. Permanent marker is used for pricing items so big Stevie Wonder could see it, again ruining the item. No way to test electronics and refuse to accept returns on broken merchandise. Saw 3 newspapers today that were priced at $50. Even showed the cashiers several listings of them selling consistently for $5 with nothing more than a shoulder shrug as a response. Its a thrift store. These are donations. No idea how this particular store is still in business. Stay away!!!

The store was decent sized and relatively clean, but what really bothered me was that they wrote the prices in permanent marker on everything. And it was not discreet -- marker on ceramic vases, marker on the outside front cover of collectible books, marker on the tops of dishes. As a lover of books and a lover of finding great deals, this is a terrible choice and decimates the items value.

The people are great, and always quick to let you know sales for the day! Prices are good. Its pretty clean too. The only real issue is organization! There will be a long rack of skirts, but no rhyme or reason to them. I just get pooped thinking about checking sizes on ALL THAT STUFF. The variety of items is small. It really doesnt have much. But...it IS for a good cause!

First off there are some terrible reviews down there. 3 stars with no explanation, 1 star for things that arent that bad. My review is that this place is clean, friendly staff and great prices too. My only con is that the mens clothing section seems to be a sparse.

Great staff love Chkd and they use a greaser pencil not a perment marker an eraser will take it off most iteams if that doesnt work wd-40 will get it off . Love the fact that they help the babies
