I contacted Ramey Richlands Automotive early morning on April 25 about a car I had seen on Autotrader and their website. After receiving a quick response that the car was there and asking if Id like to come look at it, I drove 1 1/2 hours each way to look at a car on April 25. I also received another email stating that the car would be ready and waiting for me upon arrival. After some fiddling around and whispering among staff, I was told the car had been sold "last night." I asked why I was told that very morning that the car was there and it would be ready and waiting for me to look at upon arrival, the response was that "the internet guy is not always on the same page as the sales department." So, salesman basically said nothing and we just walked away....no, let me try to find you something else or find you a car like the one you wanted. We left and drove another 1 1/2 hours home. I did receive an email from the "internet guy" apologizing and asked for my address because they wanted to send me a gift for my troubles. People make mistakes, and I thought that was a really nice followup and gesture. To make matters worse, its 11 days later and I never received any "gift" in the mail. I learned a big lesson here - calling or emailing about a car means nothing. Its best to just shop local and drive by a lot before you make a special trip somewhere based on a confirmation from someone. Im glad this happened because I got a better deal on a new car at Wallace Subaru in Johnson City. Follow up - As a follow up, I did receive a gift card in the mail yesterday (5/21). This was after sending another email stating I hadnt received anything. It was a nice gesture and I hate the whole thing happened 1. the car not being there 2. being told I would receive a gift for my trip and not receiving anything until I notified them again. Still rating them 1 star though,

Worst customer service ever... Service dept. told me it was normal for my 2016 camaro to loose power and shut off while on cruise control at 70mph.. I called 3 times to get a protection put on the car that was purchased when I bought the car in April 2016 never received it and had to have it dropped.. Ive had the vehicle in the shop twice in the past 4 months with nothing.. Will never work with this company again. I suggest you stay away from here if dont want a run around. After they make the sell they want want nothing to do with the customers. The very first time I called with the issues of the vehicle I was sent to a different dealership to have the car looked at. Worst dealership to deal with.. Currently looking into other options to get this resolved with the dealer. I take my car to another dealership local to me and find out there are multiple recalls on my vehicle that Ramey didnt want to deal with. It has also taken me 3 months to get the extra protection/ warranty dropped after 2 two and half hour trips each way and multiple calls Im told they will overnight the refund guess I will wait and see what happens!!!! DO NOT DEAL WITH RAMEY

We live in Statesville, NC about 2 1/2 hours from Rameys. The car we were interested in was washed and ready when we arrived. VERY easy price negotiating. No wasted time haggling over price. The car we bought was used. When we took delivery they told us they only had 1 key for it. This car used the transmitter keys. They cost @ 250.00 for a new key. The week after we bought our car they actually sent us the extra key for it. VERY HONEST of them. Leroy Hall is one of the most pleasant and honest salesmen I ever ever bought a car from. I will definitely make the trip back to Rameys the next time I need a car.

Ramey in Richlands is a great place to buy a car. Ariel invited us to visit for a test drive and when we arrived the car had been washed and detailed for us. John Craft is a great salesman he treated us with respect and showed great appreciation for us choosing Ramey Richlands. Everyone was very friendly. Once we had decided to make the purchase John took the car and filled the gas tank, which is a rare thing these days. We had a great experience and will look at Ramey again for our next vehicle purchase.

Ramey Automotive once again confirms to me why I purchased my 2012 Chevrolet Cruze LTZ-RS from them brand new and why the are the ONLY Service Center to have ever put a wrench to my car. I love Ramey Automotive and they have earned the right to work on my auto and they impress me every time I visit them. Visit is the best word to use as I feel like I am going to visit family when I take my Cruze to Ramey. They are the best hands down, no comparison to any other Dealership.

Best experience I have had purchasing a car. The two salesmen that handled my purchase was great and down to earth. If you need a vehicle with a great price, you need to go to Matthew Jamison or Michael Jamison. They actually try to help you get the best for your money. I didnt have the best credit and they kept trying until they got me approved with a vehicle. I love my new 2016 Chevrolet Sonic.
