I wish I could give this place zero stars. I ordered a funeral arrangement for $150 and the arrangement that was sent was probably at cost $25. Needless to say I was quite embarrassed when I received a picture of the arrangement from someone attending the funeral. I wrote an email to the owner asking for a refund and explaining that I was in the flower business IN THE PAST and did not think the arrangement that was sent lived up to my expectations and what I had heard about her business. She replied and said if you are in the business why didnt you make the arrangement yourself? I am appalled at her lack of customer service and and unwillingness to please her customers. I will NEVER use this florist again. After being extremely unhappy with the arrangement and the unfortunate lack of there being a way to quote on quote "replace it" (since a funeral is a one day event) I cant believe she wasnt willing to even CONSIDER a refund. Shocked and left bewildered.

Received a tiny arrangement for over $100 and it was a day late! Talked to the owner and got a lot of attitude... with her telling me how expensive some of the stems were. Well, they looked like cheap tulips to me and died quickly thereafter. I was told I "must be used to those Teleflora arrangements." Im sure it was meant as an insult, but Ive seen better arrangements from Teleflora for a much better price. Only shop here if you are a flower snob and have money to burn!!!

I have been using May Flowers for the past 13 years. I have sent many flowers arrangement over the years. Mayflowers is the best. There arrangements are just awesome. The flowers are always fresh and the arrangements are always beautiful. They are really works of art. Everyone in the store is knowledgeable and friendly and the Owner May is such a nice lady. My husband bought me a floral arrangement for our 30th wedding anniversary and spent close to $200.00 for it. The flowers were wilted and dying in less than a day. I would give zero stars if that was an option. Like the rest of the reviewers the owner was condescending, rude and unapologetic. It took her most of a business day to get back to me. Never again. AVOID MAYFLOWERS.

If youre looking for promotion for your handmade or independent products, Mayflowers is the last business to ask. They knew nothing about the fragrance selection that they carried from an independent maker, and the manager told their employee for me to "just google it myself". Mayflowers shows no concern for customer service or even a modicum of grace.

We have been going to Mayflowers for 12+ years, its always an excellent experience. May and her staff are so friendly, helpful, and fast. I have never been disappointed with an arrangement. The store is like walking into a dream! They are located next to Pitango Gilato & Counter Burger at the Reston Town Center in the walkway between the buildings.

By far, my favorite florist in Northern Virginia. The staff is super friendly and incredibly talented. Ive been using them for at least 10 years and wouldnt think of using anyone else. When I send flowers out of state, Mayflowers is the standard I use for creativity, variety of flowers used and freshness of the flowers. Look no further!!

They only use top tier flowers & no cheap fillers, rather they use top tier flowers to fill out their arrangements. The difference is absolutely stunning & worth every penny!
