I would look for another florist. I avoided a different florist due to a negative review and went with Greensleeves instead. Long story short, the original arrangement requested was white tulips w/red roses, spending $45. I got red tulips, red roses (making the roses indistinguishable) - and only 3 roses in the arrangment (for $45!). Flowers were poor quality (roses were a mess). I was rushed in picking them up (late for Valentines Day dinner) and did not complain at that time (my mistake) but when I saw my girlfriends face, I wish I had. I called 2 business days later (there was a holiday and a Sunday in there) and the owner said I only had 2 days to complain. She then proposed remaking flowers and delievering them - which seemed a good solution. Only what they then delivered was still wrong. I then left 3 messages for the owner (over the course of 2 weeks) after that which did not get returned. When I finally got her (when she happened to answer the phone) she said she was "ticked off" that I kept calling (even though she never returned 1 message) and there was nothing more she could do. She could have just gotten it right the first time, or the 2nd time. And I was not looking for them to re-do it again, I was wondering if maybe they could do something simple like 5% off a future order (future business). But the owner was flat out rude to me before I even said anything, which is what really irritated me most. Anyway - I wont be going near this place again. Rough experience.

Am extremely pleased with my experience at Greensleeves Florist! New to the area I was unsure what florist to use to create 17 centerpieces for a formal party. I had an idea about using faux books in a Paris theme on the tables and wanted matching floral arrangements. The wonderful shop owner thought of a creative way to incorporate the book right into the design of the centerpiece. The centerpieces looked fantastic!!! Very fresh and colorful. The owner thought of a way to preserve the books by wrapping the bottoms in plastic, which was not visible to my guests. After the event, all of the books were perfectly preserved. The flowers looked great for a very long time, many days after the event, because of the media used to keep the stem ends from drying out. Guests tell me the room looked FABULOUS, and the centerpieces were a big part of this. Guests liked how the centerpieces were not too high, so did not interfere with table conversation. I will DEFINITELY use this florist for future affairs.

Their flowers and arrangements are beautiful but they’re very challenged to take an order correctly and even more challenged with customer service. My husband called and ordered flowers to be sent to my mother from he and I on her birthday. Mom got the flowers but the card read from my husband and “dad” …. My name is not “dad” – my name doesn’t even sound like “dad”. I called and they said ooooppppssss sorry about that. I said and … and they said and what do you want us to do, send flowers with an apology for the mistake? Nice huh? Oh well, mom received flowers from her 2 favorite men … off I go to get her a birthday gift!

Called Fairfax Store at 0900 hours, 24 May 2017. A Caucasian female answered the telephone and. before I could state what I wanted, slammed the phone on my ear. Called back and asked her why she hung up on a potential customer. She replied that she thought I was a recording. Said she was busy with another customer and would I call back later.? I declined. This was my first, and last, experience with Greensleeves. If they treat a new customer this way, how can I be comfortable with how they might treat my business colleague?

I was in deperate need of bridal flowers delievered to different locations in Northern Va area last minute. So I decided to call a few local places & Greensleeves gave me the best price & service. They delievered to the exact locations and on time. & those of you looking for Jai Malas (Indian floral necklaces) this is the place. It was made beautifully and made exactly how I ordered it, along with a bridal bouquet which included crystals in the roses. I would defiantly reccomend this place & will be using place again!

Can not get these people to remove me from their span e-email list!!!!! I trceive them constantly sometimes daily!!!! I have tried to unsubscribe numerous times, some how I am still on their e-mail list. I have called did not work, the e-mails keep coming and coming!!!!! All times of day and night I continue to receive their spam e/mails!! Im so tired of their e-mails just want them to STOP SO BEWARE!!!!!

Tacky & poor quality. My boyfriend paid nearly $200 for a large bouquet of two dozen roses. He was looking for something special and tasteful. The presentation was tacky and tasteless — the bouquet was enormous and overstuffed with too many greens. The flowers had clearly been refrigerated and dried out, many died that day, the rest followed shortly. We were immensely disappointed.

I phoned an order in to deliver a bouquet to the Fair Oaks Hospital for a friend who had a baby. I placed the order at 11am and the flowers were delivered the same day. The lady on the phone was very polite and patient. Report was that the flowers looked fantastic so I couldnt ask for more. I would use this florist again and would recommend.

The service at Greensleeves was nice enough. But I paid $110 for a bouquet that was worth $50. I wanted to send my wife something special for our first anniversary, and I was willing to pay for it. Instead the collection was routine. Nothing dazzling in the assortment, and it was small. Boring overall.

We have always used greensleeves for flowers so it was a no brainer to use them for our wedding. The flowers were amazing and the prompt delivery made for a stress free experience. Would definitely recommend.
