if i could give this place zero stars i would!! DO NOT trust the pierces here! i got my navel pierced here and the piercer marked the area in a way that seemed perfectly good but then pierced it so that the entire piercing was above my navel. the bottom ball wasnt even inside my belly button. it was a surface piercing and done incorrectly as well. She went through too much skin and the balls at the end of the jewelry were being pulled into the piercing. I called back and she gave me a strange story about how the piercing would fall down into my belly button in 2 months due to gravity and the weight of the jewelry. she did not remove the jewelry and repierce nor did she give me a refund. needless to say i had the jewelry removed by another piercer who explained that her story about gravity was to cover up the fact that she botched my piercing and didnt want to fix it/refund my money. if you are looking for inexperienced/dishonest piercers who have no problem making up stories to cover their botched work, look no more!

I got tattooed by Cat and it looked fine at first but the next morning it scabbed up horribly, this is my 5th tattoo and Ive never had a problem with scabbing from any of the others. When the scab fell off the tattoo looked horrible, and most of the color came off with it. I went back to get it touched up 2 months later and it looked OK, but she gave no reasoning to the scabbing and didnt apologize and acted like it was normal. Fast forward to 8 months later and the color was already faded and it looked like a 15 year old tattoo done by an amateur. I went to Ricks tattoo they fixed me up and Im super happy with the outcome, I realized she colored in the whole tattoo with a straight liner and really messed my skin up. This time the shading was done with a 3 pin gun and it hurt way less, looks much better and no scabbing at all. When they saw the tattoo condition they were horrified. But now its looking excellent, although I paid for it twice now, I definitely learned my lesson.

Went in a couple days ago with an idea of what I wanted. I just needed a true artist to help me fine tune it. God blessed me with Cat. She was fantastic in listening and suggesting a good design. She set me up with a appointment for the next day. She promised she would have a couple of ideas drawn up for me then. I went in the next day. She met me with a wonderful smile and blew me away with a design. She even welcomed my idea to add a little more to it when I ask her. Of course it cost a little more but I was okay with it. She was very professional and confident about her work. It was a true pleasure talking with her while she did the work. She told me to return in 2 wks to touch up the small scroll lettering in my tat so I will post part 2 of my review then. Thanks Cat.

I went there today for the first time to get my belly button pierced and my friend was getting her ears pierced. From the second my friends and I walked in, we were greeted warmly and felt very welcome (even the ones that werent having anything done. Moving on to the piercing. I was very nervous (I am TERRIFIED of needles), and had never had anything but my ears pierced. Lauren talked to me in a way that calmed me down immediately, and the whole process was awesome and painless. I am so excited to hopefully go back soon for more piercings. They are a little pricy, but totally worth every penny. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for piercings.

had an appointment to get a tattoo there today. Went to the shop they got everything set up and had me fill out the paperwork and they charged my credit card before we got started. After they already charged me they came back and told me that they didnt think I was me and thought I was under 18. Im 22 years old and dont appreciate being told that I am in fact not myself even though I had a valid Drivers License on me. They were going to charge me $200 for a tattoo that I got done for $140 and it looks 10x better than what they came up with. NEVER going there again and telling all my friends and family to stay the hell away.

I went in to get my forward helix piercing on my left ear and it turned out even better than I thought it would! Rachel, the girl who did my piercing, was amazing. She talked me through the whole thing and made me feel completely comfortable; the piercing barely even hurt! (My ear bled a little bit afterwards but it was all fine.) They even offered for me to come in once my piercing heals to switch out the earring with a different one. Everything was sterile and the staff was super friendly! Great price and overall experience, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great piercing!!!

I would give 0 if I could. We wanted to get tattoos before we leave the US and they completely ignored us. I called to the number I found on Yelp and they told me to send email with pictures and information. I sent it and waited. Nobody contacted me for a few days. Then I called again and they said that "We received your email a we will send it to the artists and they will contact you." Well ... Its couple of days later and we are leaving without tatoos and their website is not working even after I tell them about it. We were looking forward to it and its just a big disappointment.

Amazing experience at Patriot. Logan and Kat did the tattoos on my husband and myself. The experience was not only fun but the staff were down to earth and good people. I could definitely see these as being people i could actually enjoy spending time with. They not only were great in the attitude but also prided themselves in professionalism and cleanliness. The art work they did was beautiful and i could see myself getting further tattoos from them in the future. the only tattoo artists i would go to in the greater northern virginia area

Unassuming little studio in a non-descript strip center. Nice people, low key vibe, no frills focus on good artists. Cat is wonderful, and actually a true "dog person," she totally understood what I wanted did a fantastic job of laying out my two tattoos and paying attention to tiniest of details double-checked everything with me before we got started kept me engaged in great discussion the entire time and they came out perfectly!

I came here to get my septum pierced while I was visiting my friends in Fairfax. I live a couple hours away and was going to get it done somewhere at home but I decided to go ahead and get it done while I was with a friend. Rachel was the one who did my piercing when I went in and she was fantastic. It was really speedy and very relaxed, everyone who worked there was so friendly. Rachel did a great job.

I got Prince Albert done on Sunday the piercer she was the best. She is so good Im going back to get a pair of DyDoes done by her. I got my pair of DyDoes last Wednesday the piercer Rachel she is awesome she is the best. Im going to get more piercing from her. She makes you feel comfortable when she pierced you.
