I cant say enough about how cool the staff is here! Ive been working on an upper arm/shoulder piece with Will for a little while now. From the beginning Will has been so professional and really listened to ideas that I wanted to portray in my design, but with his stylistic twist! I love the work Ive gotten done so far and would recommend this shop to anyone looking to add any ink. The shop is clean, well lit, open, and airy. Tons of art for sale and hanging, you wont find unused wall space! I wish I could be in town for their official gallery opening, but I will continue to support from afar and get tattooed here when I can. Yes, I drive a few hours to get work done here each session and its so worth it! Im looking forward to seeing Fable Tattoo become an integral part of the RVA community and a company that continues to give back.

I am really impressed by this shop. When you first walk in you can feel the artistic creativity and good vibes. Every single artist here has a solid portfolio, but for what i wanted, i chose to work with Will Gonzalez. Will came up with an incredible design. I was blown away by the detail and composition. He even came up with an elaborate storyline for the "characters" in my tattoo. nice touch Will! He was also a very gentle. Lets face it, getting tattooed sucks. But he makes it a lot more manageable. You will NOT be disappointed with your tattoo if you come here. Hands down best shop in RVA! I will be back as soon as possible! Oh, Will is also a fantastic singer. so ask him to sing for you. Youre welcome.

This place is rad! Every artist is super chill and theyre quite the talented bunch. Im in love with my artwork Ive gotten from the lovely Will Gonzalez. Been working with this dude for almost 6 years, followed him all the way from NC, and its always an exciting time. Hes extremely talented and makes the whole experience a very special one. Everytime I see him, I can see how much hes progressed with his artwork. Never a dull moment with this one. Cant wait to come back for more.... and Im traveling all the way from CO these days! :)

Fable is a relaxed, comfortable, and fun shop to get a tattoo. The interior is super clean, open, filled with natural light, and has a slight art gallery feel which many shops lack. All of the artists are extremely talented, diverse, welcoming, and easy going. I have been going to Barham Williams the last few months and to me, he is one of the best young tattoo artists out there. He is really thoughtful when it comes to his work and easy to brainstorm with. All around, a welcome addition to Cary Street and RVAs tattoo universe.

Ive been driving to Richmond for three consecutive years from DC to see Daniel Farren. I found him on line and we met, talked for an hour, pulled resources together and began working in a sleeve and chest piece that is true art. I get stopped everyday-its kind of annoying but I understand. Its fkng art that I carry around on my body not some rando ink from so n so down the street. Im now working on a leg sleeve with him and true to form perfect! This guy has mad skills! Love the new shop and super amped for them!

An amazing group of talented artists! I had my half sleeve done by Daniel Farren - and he beyond exceeded my expectations! I get so many compliments on this piece, even from strangers. And to all the fellow vegans out there - he uses vegan inks which is another plus! Ive been tattooed at other shops in Richmond, but none have had the same level of professionalism, quality, and talent as the artists at Fable Tattoo Gallery! Best shop in RVA - Highly recommended! :)

Highly recommend! The guys at this shop are incredible artists and consistently do amazing work. Their new shop space is awesome as well - super clean, modern and makes you feel right at home. I have tattoos done by Daniel and Barham and couldnt be happier with either of them. Everyone that works there is very talented and professional. Cant speak from personal experience for all of the artists - but Daniel Farren and Will Gonzales are phenomenal (Im sure the others are great too!). Very easy to get along with and perfectly willing to work with you to bring your ideas to life. You will not leave this shop with a piece that you dont love. All of the standard things check out - cleanliness, professionalism, etc. Great group of artists and top-notch shop!

I followed on social media, and was beyond floored at how talented every single person there is. I just got home after a session with Clutch and I could not be more pleased. He gave me a one of a kind tattoo that no one else could have. I am proud to wear this amazing artwork on my body.

Will Gonzalez and Fable Tattoo Gallery are incredible. Ive been tattooed by Will for years and drive from Greensboro NC to Fable to continue getting work done by him. His artistic style is unique and he is passionate about what he creates for each individual. I get constant compliments on my sleeve and I tell anyone who asks that it is absolutely worth the drive to Richmond to have Will work on you.

Barham is my go-to artist. Hes absolutely amazing. Fable as a whole is a clean and inviting shop that facilitates creativity. All of the artists hold themselves to very high standards in all aspects of their work. Ive never been as comfortable in another tattoo shop as I am at Fable. The people are amazing, the artwork is amazing, and I wont be going anywhere else for the foreseeable future. ♡

Absolutely love this shop. The Atmosphere & Staff are great. The artist are so talented. Ive only been tattooed there once, but I am already planning my next Piece and I am looking forward to it very much. I could not be happier with my first experience. Just got a piece done by Clutch. I have never felt more comfortable getting a tattoo done than I have here. My tattoo was intricate and large and Clutch took his time every step of the way and allowed me to take a breather when I needed :) The shop is clean and modern and has a very open feel. Highly recommend anyone looking for a good quality tattoo go here!
