Wow! The artist took what I wanted, and literally made it better than I could imagine. The shop prides itself on giving a custom, personalized tattoo that is as clean and professional as it gets. They have a great relaxed atmosphere highlighting the history of tattooing and American Traditional tattoos (they can tattoo any style you want). The artists are personable and do a great job understanding what youre looking for with your tattoo. They appreciate the history behind their craft, and they are very, very good at what they do. The quality of work and atmosphere at the Bowery is so much better than the place where I got my other tattoo (Ill probably see if one of the artists at the Bowery will cover up my other tattoo)! Bottom line: I got a tattoo that far exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely go back because you cant find a cleaner, more professional tattoo anywhere!

From the moment we walked in till the moment we left this tattoo shop was an amazing experience. For me as a first timer I felt really good vibes from the people who work there. My boyfriend and I went in to get matching tattoos and our artist (Ike) did an outstanding job. Im in love with the work he did. Not only did he do an awesome job but hes a very kind and charismatic person. This shop and Ike both deserve a 10/10 and I highly recommend to everyone.

Great Artists who care! Greg did a stunning job on the realistic look of Flit from Pocahontas! Clean lines! Great color matching! Looks exactly like the original image for what I was after! I absolutely love Gregs realistic detail! Im New to the area & after checking out 6 shops in Fredericksburg, I knew The Bowery Tattoo was the shop for me! Greg Harmon has done my tattoos for over 10 years. I live in California and flew to Virginia to get some work done from him. Hes very professional and will work with you on making sure your tattoo will last and look great! The shop is well maintained and very clean. I would recommend Bowery to anyone whos looking to get a piece theyd be proud enough to show off, even to grandma!!
