I agree with ray most of these reviews are probably friends and family, this is the first review I have written because Im pretty angry. I wouldnt be writing this review but i bought a a box cigars a few days ago and they way too dry and this is the second time this has happened. In addition the staff seems very out of focused and not very knowledgeable about their product. The guy I talked too was very out of focus and did not know what he was talking about what so ever. It seemed very unprofessional considering how the store looks. The lounge is the only redeeming factor of the place and it is nice thats why i gave the one star, but the cigar quality is defiantly below par and definitely not worth the drive to Ashland.

Ive visited Cigar Realm numerous times, usually buying one of my go-to smokes (anything from Acid or a nice Maduro from Onyx) or some pipe tobacco, and have always had a great experience. Ive met the owner, Scott, and also one of his managers, Lloyd, and am impressed by the knowledge these gentlemen possess and have always felt like whether I was window shopping, sitting down for a cigar, or buying a whole box I was welcome to stay as long as I liked to enjoy the atmosphere and conversation. If a leather armchair, a good smoke, and some intelligent discourse is your thing then I suggest you give Cigar Realm a try.

Great selection and the only place Ill go for cigars. My loyalty started because as a woman that smokes cigars, especially full bodied cigars, Im used to being either ignored or treated very rudely to put it nicely. My boyfriend and I walked in for the first time and were both greeted and when I told the associate what I was looking for he immediately started showing me options and treated me like everyone else for the first time. I feel so comfortable in there that Ill actually relax and smoke in the smoking lounge on occasion.

Today was my first visit to Cigar Realm in Ashland. I met Lloyd, and he was very helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable, making it a fine experience. I looked around at all the cigars and accessories and was very pleased at the quantities and quality brands for sale. It was my pleasure to do business here, and I will be back. I have a regular smoke shop that I frequent in Charlottesville, as it is close to home, but when in Ashland and Richmond area, I will surely revisit Lloyd at Cigar Realm! Smokes up!

These reviews must be provided by friends and family. This place is as bad as a cigar stores gets. Ive gotten better cigars from liqueur stores. The Macs that I purchased there were so dry that they started unwrapping even as I tried to light the first one. My their credit Bob was filling the water in the humidors. Sadly it seems they must have been empty for some time. Save your money and shop elsewhere

Love this lounge! Wide cigar selection, including Davidoff, very comfortable, and the staff are exceptional. Lloyd is an asset to this location and has helped me pick out a great selection of cigars that I have enjoyed over the last few years, as well as being excellent at customer service. Always a smile and firm handshake. Nice lounge to relax or work in.
