Bought a PC with additional memory, took it home and computer kept shutting off with a memory error. Returned it the next day and immediately the franchisee said "It was working when you left." She replaced the memory cards, but now I have a PC fan failure and computer shuts off when playing videos (probably some kind of memory card problem). I called to schedule a repair but they didnt answer their phone for days; sent emails and finally someone from the corporate office contacted the Alexandria location and asked them to contact me. Today I took the computer to the location during normal business hours and it was closed. Yes, closed early for some BS reason, so I just wasted my time and gas money. I wouldve called first, but they dont answer the damn phone.

This out-of-the way store is worth looking for. They have anything and everything you are looking for, the prices are good and the staff is great! Knowledgeable and helpful, eager and willing to help even a computer/electronics challenged person such as myself. I got a computer that suited my needs for the price I was looking for, and even some pointers on how to use it for things I didnt know I needed! I recommend you check them out first before you buy-worth the trip!

Under new ownership as of January 1st, they say. And its true, theyre not "general public" friendly, I went to sell a couple used laptops and they refused to take them. This was no problem with the old PC Retro. The laptops they do have for sale are uninteresting and boring. No deals to find here. You will find better computers on Craigslist and for better prices. PC Retro has forgotten where their place is as a small business and its sad to see it go.

Three employees sitting around watching a football game on big TV. Prices are pretty high for 5-7 year old computers with virtually no warranty (and hefty restocking fees). The way they handle Windows licenses is somewhat questionable. The machines have visible dust bunnies in them, so its pretty clear these arent refurbished...theyre merely resold after corporate bankruptcies and such.

Really, you are kidding right? This place has no parts besides ancient floppy drives, a shady reception area, and ancient computers that can barely run windows XP, much less any additions like Norton, MS Office or anything. This place has got to be a front for something else since nobody seems to shop there either. Simply dont waste your time going there.

Small place that doesnt look like much, but fantastic service. Brought in my laptop for a diagnosis and they turned it around same day (approx 6 hours). Very reasonable people who arent going to suggest a repair if it is only going to be a short term fix. Great people, will be coming back.

BEST store hands down for PCs!! Knowledgeable tech staff, super low prices, great selection. They have everything here from PCs to laptops to LCDs to printers and servers, networking equipment and they also offer service AND repairs! 1 stop shop for all my PC needs.

I have shopped here for a number of years. Greatest value around with quality service to match!!! On a number of occasions, their sales and techs have found me just what I needed without any forced "upsell" present in larger chain stores.
