My MacBook crashed on me and I was in a very bad shape as it had all of my life work for the past 8 years. I wasnt concerned so much about the laptop but losing all of my work is what has terrified me the most. I took it to few places to get quotes on retrieving my data and the quotes kept getting higher and higher from one place to another. I found PC TEK online so I called them for a quote as I didnt want to keep paying diagnostics fees and they informed me that its free and they need to evaluate my hard drive to give me an estimate. I took it down to their shop and spoke to the tech and addressed to him my concerns and my fears of further damage to the hard drive which will complicate getting my data back. he was very understanding and did the evaluation of the hard drive for me while I waited and confirmed that they can retrieve my data and they gave me a quote which was shockingly low compared to the other places which got me concerned at the beginning. They kept me updated with the process of retrieving my data until one day they called and said its ready for me to pick it up. I couldnt believe it when I saw all of my files and pictures that I taught were lost forever, I couldnt be any happier so I asked them if they can fix my MacBook and they did as well. Also, they helped me set up couple of methods to back up my data in-case this happens again in the future. After a week from my initial visit, I had my MacBook working and upgraded with all of my data and it only cost me less than half of what I was quoted by the other places. Overall great customer and technical service, very reasonable prices, and fast turn around time. I will certainly use them again if I run to any problems and highly recommend them to anyone.

I recommend PC TEK Solutions: This is a true life event of “Mistaken Redial” Nearly two years ago I awoke to a Blank Screen and my laptop wouldn’t start. I searched the internet and Craigslist frantically to find a TECH in the area that I could assess right away. I called server shops and left messages. Finally I get a call back and the man told me the charge for the diagnostics and how much it would cost and he was available. I raced to the location but couldn’t locate the shop. Just as I had gotten frustrated another call came in and I was sure it was the same guy so I immediately started fussing at the young man never once allowing him to say he wasn’t the gentleman I had just gotten off the phone with. Needless to say I calmed down and the caller told me I had the wrong person. Turns out the wrong number ended up being my ONE STOP SHOP and REFERRAL. I am especially grateful to find and recommend someone whom I have come to trust a great deal and is passionate about his work. His expert knowledge and explanation abilities are phenomenal. It has been nearly two years since I first met Mr. Abdul, PC TEK Solutions and I have recommended their services over and over again. In April 2014 I suffered a stroke; I contacted PC TEK Solutions to fix a minor problem. They came out to my home picked up my computer and when the problem was fixed dropped it off. Getting a new computer repair person can be like finding a new doctor! PC TEK Solutions is my new Dr. They fixed my laptop problems, showed me how to use new features for my disability and made sure I didnt have any other problems before they left. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Mr. Abdul and his company PC TEK Solutions of Virginia.

Was just about to ditch my first-gen HP TouchSmart - running slow, took forever to load, several links and dll files were missing or corrupted, etc. However, before purchasing a new PC, I surfed the net to locate a computer repair shop near me, hoping to get a professional opinion as to the cost effectiveness of resuscitating my PC. I found PC tek, seemed to be highly rated, spoke with Abdel, discussed my concerns,and confirmed that he made house calls. We scheduled a mutually convenient time for his visit. On arriving, Abdel sat down, ran a few diagnostic tests, and advised me that there was nothing essentially wrong with my computer - it had been infected with several viruses, other programs and drivers needed to be updated, etc. He cleaned the infections, and updated all drivers. I had lost the disc to an older mailing program that I had used for many years and was comfortable with, but it had recently become corrupted. Abdel located and purchased the program over the internet and re-installed it, and it is once again fully operational, with all addresses recovered. Finally, Abdel restored the receive function of my multi-function fax. In all aspects of his work, I found him professionally competent, quiet and pleasant to work with. Considering the services rendered and his willingness to make in-home repairs when feasible, I found his turn-around time and cost to be quite reasonable. I am pleased to recommend him highly and without reservation.

PC Tech fixed my PC tower and my Laptop. He came to my house so I didnt need to unplug my computer. All my files needed to be moved to an external hard drive and Windows reinstall. It took a long time, but my computer is running like a charm now. While we waited for the reinstall, I had him look at my Laptop which was running slow as well. Thankfully I didnt have all the problems with the laptop as I did with the PC tower. He came up with a few options and I decided to upgrade the laptop. He personally picked up the memory and new external hard drive from the Computer Store in Fairfax. He gave me the receipt and I paid him back for the exact cost of the item - no upcharge. How many PC companies would do that! The price for all the work was very reasonable and he continues to provide service to me as needed. Just recently I called with a question on how to remove malicious software and he walked me through the whole process. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I back this company 100% Lori

There is nothing more important than supporting a local business in the area that provides the same quality of service like Best Buy and other 5 star competitive PC repair shops. The team at PC Tech is well trained on customer service, proficiency in work, tailored customer service, and being punctual with their work. I took my wifes computer there and they did the diagnostics for free which normally costs around $25.00 to $50.00 anywhere else. The called me and educated me on what they will be doing as far as fixing the computer. after two days I went in and picked up my wifes computer and it was running as if I just purchased a new one. on the contrary, I still had all the important files and pictures. Supporting a small business is key in our community, however these guys are performing small business work at a quality you will expect in a place like Best Buy without the higher cost.
