This place has horrible customer service and does a terrible job (or in my case no job at all) Read story below for the details, but seriously this is one of the most unfriendly, disorganized, and incompetent businesses (Customer service wise) Ive encountered in the Burlington VT / VT as a whole ever. Dont take your stuff here, go elsewhere. Had an issue with my less than a year old 47" LG TV so called LG and they told me it was under warranty and that Electronics Hospital would be sending a technician over the next day to look at it and repair it. They never showed the next day and when I called they were very short and rude telling me they had just gotten the work order the day earlier. They also said they knew the problem my TV was having was with "the panel" (Remember they never had anyone actually look at the TV so how do they know its "the panel"??). They tell me the panel will take a week to get here and theres nothing they can do. Anyways, the next day (today) I check my email and notice I got one from them the day before (the same day they told me it would be here in a week), non nonchalantly telling me the panel was on back order and theyd called me when they know something. So I called over to clarify if they had heard anything or even had a rough idea of the panel status so I could have a rough idea of when I might be able to have my $700 TV fixed. When I called and asked this question, the person on the phone then proceeded to (very rudely and condescendingly), explain what he thinks back ordered means. I have worked customer service jobs and this level of service is just way below par (Also -side note- how can someone be so grumpy on a Friday?). Dont go to this place, I spoke with them over 3 times on the phone and every encounter they were short and rude with me for no reason. 1 star is too many stars for Electronics Hospital. Also if you dont believe my review or what Im saying, go look at their YELP reviews. *Note - This is all in reference to their customer service, because they never showed up I cant judge the quality of their technicians. As such - I have no opinion on their technicians, I just know their customer service is terrible.

At the recommendation of a previous appliance repair and service business, I contacted The Electronics Hospital to schedule the repair of a rear projection television. While the initial professionalism and customer service approach of the business was excellent during the first contact and subsequent follow-up to determine the solution to the problem, the resulting experience on the scheduled day of service has forever lost them a customer. My service window was from 8am to 10:30AM on Wednesday morning. After seeing no sign of the repairman prior to 10AM, I called the office to verify that I was still indeed on the list for my scheduled service. I was assured that the repairman was the next town over and that he would be there shortly. At 10:10AM, the repair van pulled into my driveway. I watched the repairman get out of the van, walk around to the side panel, look inside for something, shut the door, look in the front seat. I then watched him get back into the driver seat, pull out of my driveway and drive away without saying a word to me as I stood on the porch to welcome him in. I figured he left some tools at his previous job, so I went back inside to wait. 30 minutes later, nothing. No call from the home office or the repairman. Nothing. So I call to find out that he had left the one part that was needed to do the job back in Burlington, a 45 minute drive away. This meant the earliest I would see the repairman back would be after 12PM. Funny enough, I had to go to work. Poor service. Absolutely no regard for the fact that a customer willing to pay for their service had waited almost three hours and the only notice of any problem was a result of the customer contacting them. Its a shame. I hope others have more luck.

All I can say is Wow!! We have been dealing with our LG washer having problems completing a cycle since we purchased it nearly 3 years ago and after reading the reviews on the LG website it seemed that LG did not stand behind their products so I never wanted to waste the time or money for service. Instead I continuously tried to trick the washer into completing the cycle and became less and less successful with my efforts. Not wanting to purchase another new machine I decided to call Lowes where we purchased the machine and talk to them about the issue. They did not hesitate to send Electronic Hospital out at their cost and they sent them quickly. I surely could have saved myself a couple of years of frustration had I ignored the poor reviews and called earlier. Tom took one look at the washer and knew the problem well. He immediately replaced the main software board and when that did not completely fix the problem he replaced the motor. It is incredible. The machine that has never worked properly for us, now spins every load through perfectly. And I tested it by washing a quilt the first load, followed by a combination of towels and sheets. Both loads that would never complete prior to Electronic Hospitals visit. Thank you so much Tom and crew!! Do not ever hesitate to call them

We have received service a few times from the Electronics Hospital and have always had a good experience for appliances both under and out of warranty. After our very new refrigerator stopped cooling, we went through the manufacturer to schedule service and one of EHs techs came out the very next day. He was nice and courteous (and even took off his shoes - which can be a big deal in VT depending on the season). Ultimately one of the doors needed to be replaced due to a faulty seal and they came back and did the service as soon as the new door arrived. Today, after having issues with our 7 year old washer for the last 48 hours, we called EH. With a household of five, we do a lot of laundry and were worried about being without a washer. When we called, they took down the washer info and told us they werent sure if when they could come out but would let us know. 45 minutes later they called back and not only did they come out on the same day but they also replaced the faulty pump (no wait for parts)! We have already finished four loads of laundry this evening thanks to Electronics Hospital. We wont hesitate to call them again if needed.

I should have checked the other bad reviews of Electronic Hospital before going there. I brought in an espresso machine, they said we may not be able to get parts but we can find the problem and fix it. A few days later they call and now say "we dont fix appliances". I ask for the $40 "estimate" charge back as they did not give me an "estimate" but said they are not capable of repairing the machine. They bring the machine in the back and unscrew a bolt that I asked them to screw in for me while they were "fixing" the machine. Very petty. Then the guy at the counter says "Heres your damn money!" and throws the $40 on the counter. Apparently, insulting the customer is their policy. My recommendation is to stay away from these unprofessionals.
