Came in after overhearing some people in Allens lodge at Sugarbush talking about the place, but unfortunately the first two times we stopped by they were closed, or had stepped out. However on our third try we got lucky. A couple of us ordered some platters and we were all quite underwhelmed. The brisket was thin sliced and tough, not tender thick slices. Pulled pork was under smoked and dry and topped with a two sweet BBQ sauce. The ribs were better but not great. Normally I would consider this par for the course in New England BBQ. However, we found world class BBQ the first time we came looking for this place. After finding this store closed, we asked a gas station clerk up the road about the place and he said we should check out Big Fattys 10 minutes away in town. we did and that find made learning about this store worth it.

the BBQ was ok, super fatty and greasy, but not awful. the beverage racks were more than half empty and there was more display space devoted to ... lets call it "the 420 lifestyle" ... than there was to actual BBQ. there was a nice selection of local products and snack foods, but not much in the way of "general store goods". I didnt try the ice cream, but my friends seemed to like it, and the store brand soda was decent. staff was friendly enough, but lent the impression they may have injested too much smoke of one type or another ...

I went in to order BBQ takeout. While waiting for my order, I looked around the store. Many of the food items were expired. I looked in the coolers to find a drink, and was hit with the worst smell when I opened the door. I looked behind the drinks, and there was a rack of bread and the bread was so moldy that it was hardly identifiable as bread. I didnt even eat the takeout as I was worried about what may be in it. Very disappointed in this place!

Asked if they could make a BLT. They are not on the menu. The man behind the counter eagerly took on the request and made me a BLT wrap. It was the best BLT Ive ever had!! Great store with loads of items..walk around slowly so you dont miss anything!

On a trip up to northern Vermont we stopped here for lunch and a break. It was a great decision. I had their pulled pork sandwich, and my husband had the brisket. We thoroughly enjoyed them. We also enjoyed their Saspbarella, and other sodas.

Looking for a place to eat and decided to stop and try here. Thank goodness we did! The food was phenomenal! The sandwiches were HUGE and the prices were great! I wished we didnt live 4 hours away because we would make this a weekly regular!

A nice quiet rest stop very near the highway. Their brisket is the absolute best! They serve all manner of deli sandwiches, snacks, booze, and of course Vermont fudge.

Ordered a beef brisket sandwich, which wasnt too bad. Bag of chips and a lemonade with their own label, for $21.60 ....Ouch ! Be prepared to dish out a lot of cash.

Had a rest room and sold beverages. Adequate at that. Cannot comment on food; may be excellent. No complaints; nothing excellent to point of note.

Had to wait a really long time for our food and then it was just OK. She really needs to hire someone else.
