I went to this Brooks Brothers to buy a suit specified by the groom for a wedding. The store is empty (as it always seems to be), and the saleswoman shows me the suit and talks to me briefly about sizes. The suit on display doesnt fit, and she tells me that it isnt made in any size that would fit me. She tells me nothing in the store is really made for my size and that I should try a different store - not another Brooks Brothers store (she assures me they wont have what I want), but somewhere else entirely. I was both irritated with her attitude and disappointed, and spent the next couple of weeks looking at different stores for a color match to this unique Brooks Bros fashion suit. Fast forward through a frustrating search. Im traveling out of town and mention my rough experience at Brooks Bros Essex - actually the *second* time someone at that store had told me that they didnt sell for my size and I should go away. There happens to be a factory store in Tilton NH, near where I am visiting. Urged by friends and family to try that store, I go there and ask about the suit - expecting to hear the same disappointing story. Lo and behold, the saleswoman (Samantha) in Tilton is very helpful even though the store is very busy. It turns out not only does Brooks Bros make the suit I want in my size, the store had the jacket on the rack! She very kindly arranged to have the suit pants sent to me overnight at home, and I bought not one but two suits. Thanks Samantha! Bottom line: I encourage anyone with a choice to avoid the Essex VT Brooks Brothers store. Despite being empty of customers, its employees have no desire to help customers make an appropriate purchase.

I purchased a suit here for my upcoming wedding a month or two ago, which I love. All of their mens dress wear is of high quality and worth every penny. I went in today with some questions about accessorizing my outfit and bringing everything together. Angela, the store manager took the time to lay everything out and go over my entire suit and offered great suggestions and tips. I left with everything I needed and feeling confident due to Angelas great customer service and professionalism. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and at no time tried to push anything on me. I Can not say enough great things about Angela and this store (I have also had great interactions with store associate Josh, very knowledgble and friendly).
