Im from out out of town. I bought a battery and asked about installation. I was told they dont install batteries for my make/model because of the danger of damaging the radio. I went home and replaced it myself. When I took the old battery back to my local Advanced auto parts, I told the guy about the installation refusal due to the radio issue. He looked at me like I was crazy. He said all the stores have a device they hook up before installing the battery to specifically avoid damaging the vehicle when they change the battery. In my opinion, the guy at the Essex store was just lazy and didnt want to help someone from out out of state.

This is the only place I buy my auto parts whenever possible in the Chittenden County area. The staff is much more knowledgeable and helpful then AutoZone. I recently had to return some parts then I ended up not needing on a job I was doing the staff was gracious and very helpful and friendly.
