Napa has an okay selection of parts, but they definitely find ways to rip you off and are very inflexible. They charged me an exhorbitant $7 for a single socket, but I had no choice but to pay because the cost of gas can quickly negate the savings of driving around looking for a better deal. They are also very inflexible. I had no idea if the socket would even work at all, and if it didnt, Id be out $7 for nothing. Local hardware stores (Id recommend Parsons in Unionville) are nice enough to lend you tools, or allow you to return if it turns out to not work. Napa will not let you do so. Other products at Napa can be very, very expensive as well, including paint compounds, fuel cleaners, etc. Get them at mom-and-pops, or Wal-Mart if you can. At least Wal-Mart has good prices, and the small local stores offer good service. Napa offers neither. They are a convenient spot for Avon/Canton/Simsbury residents, and can be a lifesaver if you get caught in the middle of a project and need tools right away. However, only use them as a last resort.

Been going to this store for almost 15 years now for various cars, they normally have what I need at a fair price or can get it same day/next day. Some items like my Brembo Brake rotors Ill order online due to expense and same for other specialty OEM-type items. But when I need tune up parts, filters (WIX btw = NAPA Gold,excellent oil filter) I would much rather support my local store than a big box that supplies zero service and stocks only fluids and some parts. Prices are fair, service is excellent, that is the kind of business I want to see stick around another 15 years...

Friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful staff. This is my new go-to auto place after moving into the area, though I was initially skeptical as Ive had poor experiences with the staff at other NAPAs. They cram a lot of product into this tiny store and I always walk out with what I need. I also really appreciate their stock of high grade general purpose nuts and bolts.

They recommended Autolite spark plugs for a Chrysler .....Autolite plugs should never go in a Chrysler product.
