THREATENING EXPERIENCE!! I recently went into pearl st. beverage and saw the tall man with a buzz cut who works there, tell one of the customers that he wanted to bash his face in and he wasnt even on the register. The customer who was threatened had not been being disrespectful, he simply was just waiting his turn. After he threatened the customer the young lady that was cashing him out made a remark to him that he cant threaten the customers. Ive seen him get angry at customers multiple times and it makes me feel uncomfortable to shop there. I will not support a business that has employees that are threatening patrons . I will also pass on to my friends to not support pearl st. bev from here on out. If you want to keep your client base, you should highly rethink or reprimand your employees.

Im a total beer snob, I dont mind tellin ya! I called these guys to see if they had what I wanted in stock. They had two of three, not bad. One of which is very difficult to find. I shopped around and almost gave up hope. Anyway, when I go in there they were all very nice, helpful, and offered suggestions. And not in a plastic salesman kind of way, in a someone who is genuinely excited about good beer kind of way. I like this place a lot, great selection and friendly people :)

Saw this store as we walked by to downtown and went in just out of convenience. The cashier was a total drugee; when looking into his eyes you could tell he was not all there. When cashing out, I didnt get a receipt, so I asked for one. He apparently took this as a challenge, got uptight and with anger said we should have asked for it before he threw it out! Very threatening, as the other reviews have noted. Last time well go in there - life is too short for this sort of B.S.

I find the interior a little run down looking, but the selection is outstanding, and the prices are solidly mid range (you can hunt around and find better deals on some of their offerings, but most places will charge a lot more for most of their stock.) The folks working there are unbelievably efficient, so even if theres a line it tends to move very quickly, and theyre always friendly and polite.

Im not sure if the first review knows Vermont liquor laws... only one liquor store per town. The next nearest place to buy liquor is in Winooski. Ive always found the long lines on the weekend give me time to chat up cuties waiting too. They take fake IDs too, so dont even try.

This place is almost always super busy due to its proximity to 40,000 college students. The staff,however, keeps its moving. WARNING: This is great place to get arrested for distributing to minors do not give in to the "Hey Mister" underage kids in the lot.

The place is a dump, always has been a dump, with jacked prices and pierced, retarded, dirty malcontents acting as cashiers, help, or menaces the cops simply havent found yet. AVOID. Nothing like it in Palm Springs.

Location and selection... Location is great expect it drags in just about all the college students expect a line. The selection is just about perfect, normally running a deal on some good vodka or rum.

Okay in a pinch... They have a decent selection (not as nice as winooskis) but pretty terrible customer service and always long lines... Would never ever go there unless it was my only option
