Lake Wine and Spirits has one of the largest beer fridges in the area and very reasonable prices. The owner Jeff is very mindful of which beers he stocks, always trying to mix a selection of local CT beers with very popular micros and very popular macros. If you want Bud Light or Founders Centennial IPA, you can find either here. He also has a pretty good selection of single bottles. The staff is very friendly and courteous. They taste a lot of stuff and offer tasting notes and often pick out cheap stuff that is really good and put it on display or on sale. They love to help customers, especially with picking wines. There is a lot of wine. I cant imagine you coming to this store looking for wine and not finding something you want. If you like Scotch, Whisky, and Burbon, there is a decent selection of that as well. To be fair and honest, it doesnt have everything, its a big store and all but all space is finite. The store tends to pick more domestic beers, so if you want something imported like a Belgian you will have to probably go to Caspers.

Tryed to purchase from the store for the first time tonight. As me and a few other customers approached the door it was promptly closed and locked in our faces. According to the others he closes when ever he feels like it. It was 730 when i walked up so i kinda believe them. They told me about a reliable better priced store in stopnshop plaza. They were right, good prices up there. Needless to say ill advise all i know in the area to stay clear of lake wine, and them to do the same

Great craft beer selection. Frequently stop by to check on any "hard to get" beers they may have in stock. Staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable to me.
