I worked a block away from BIG DOG Pawn for ten years, at the beginning, I would go in to BIG DOG during my lunch break, to look at all the cool stuff that they have there, then after a few times, I wouldnt go in there for just all the cool stuff, but also for the AWESOME PEOPLE WITH AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE that work there. From the owner Scott, to Trevor, Randi and all the wonderful employees that work there. I know some people go in there when they are going through tough times, and I GUARANTEE you, they never treat anyone unkindly or make anyone feel as though they are being judged. If you ever want to buy some cool, neat stuff, or if your in need for a TV, a Turn Table, autographed memorabilia item, jewelery, or your going through a rough time financially, and you want to go somewhere, where they will treat you kind and not try to jip you, You NEED TO GO TO BIG DOG PAWN... I cant even begin to describe the kind of service I have received this shop. My husband and I have been going through rough times for almost a year now, and have had to temporarily pawn most of our things sometimes. I probably have 8 or so tickets with them now. But Oscar and Scott have always done everything they could for us, whether it be giving us a slightly better deal through the worst of our financial strains, to being understanding when we had to be a little late on our payment. We dont go anywhere else anymore. I know these people care about us and the things that we value. You couldnt ask for a better place to go. I enjoy going in and looking around and joking with everyone. They have really cool stuff there at great prices. I still have something there I want to buy when I can :P but yeah, to make a long story short. If youre looking for a good pawn shop, youll never find a place better than this one :D

I met Oscar right at the entrance, he greeted me with a hello! I tols him that I was looking for an impact driver and he immediately showed me his selection. Though he had a lot to offer there was nothing within my price range. At that point he asked me "what do you need?" I replied " just something practical." He said give me a moment then went in the back and pulled out this beautiful Makita lithium ion set which comes with 2 batteries a drill and a impact drill. I thought that theres no way Oscar is going to let this go for what Im asking. Sure enough it was just over my budget but he met me at my asking price regardless. Needless to say I am very happy with my purchase and holding it right now in my hand fully functioning and it looks barely used, it was beautiful experience.

Why visit another pawn shop in UT. when you got BIG DOG to the rescue! Dont need to watch out your wallet cuz this dog is friendly as f***. Forgot Im still in Utah, my bad yall. Seriously though, this place is as legit as you can get for a pawn shop and that says a lot. Best thing about BIG DOG is by far OSCAR>TREVOR>CHRIS>>>These three stooges are so, so the epitome of cool that after my purchase I just wanted to hang out and shoot the s***. Again, my bad yall. I was military so cut me slack jack. YEEEEAAAH BIG DOG RUFF RUFF! Ill definitely be back for more bone. Oh yeah, I bought three BIGDOG soul skateboards today and pawned my watch and two rifles to help make ends meet last month. Thanks BIG DOG!!! YEEEEAAAH BIG DOG RUFF RUFF!

My experience with BigDog pawn shop have been great. I do music and most local musicians cannot afford to buy all their equipment new so I started going to the dogs about 8 years ago. The customer service has always been great and you have a knowledgeable staff, but my go-to guy is Trevor! I bought 80% of my recording equipment and all of my laptops from BigDog over the past eight years and hands down literally the best laptop prices in the Salt Lake Valley over any pawn shop Ive been to. Ive never had to buy anything and take it back because it didnt work, and are always willing to take care of there customers and give you a good deal. Go in and see my buddy Trevor and youre still young Silas sent you "the black guy with the dreadlocks"!

These guys are a blast to work with. I need tools on a weekly basis. I stop in Big Dog first, knowing they will help me get the cheapest price. Randy is usually there to greet me with a smile and this cool deminner like a female Fonzirelli. (Kinda have a crush but who dosent, right? Lol) Now Oscar what can I say about the friendliest guy probably in the who state of Utah this dude will dig thru tools a bust knuckles to find you what you need, all while shooting the bull about any topic that comes up. Different kinda cool but cool all the same. I havent met anyone I dont like at Big Dog but these 2 should have their own show. The Oscar and Randy show. Big Dogs! Yall are good people.

Was told if I was to come back with 260 cash in could purchase a gun that was highly used discontinued. So I get the money together and then another sales rep. Tells me that its 290 with tax? I was told 260 total. Will not be doing any business with these people! I am sure you where glad to discount it from 275 to 260. The gun was in ok shape. Could barely read the model on side of the slide! Can purchase same gun new for about 300. Lol your prices are a joke . also wasted my time getting the 260 cash for what I was told I could have it for! Not 260 + tax! I agree with others on there reviews that the prices are ridiculous and the store is a mess!

Randy, Trevor, Scott and Oscar are the best people in town to go and see if you need to pawn something of yours for the highest amount paid around or if your looking to purchase something from there giant selection of very reasonably-priced merchandise. Ive been shopping at this location for the better part of a decade and have always been treated with respect and kindness like a friend not just a customer. They are absolutely fantastic here, stop by and take a look around and I guarantee you will find something you have to take home with you for the best price in town.

I have been to this location numerous times and loved my experience each time. When I have gone Trevor has been the one helping me out and hes great! Hes very professional and has a lot of knowledge about the products they have there in this store as well as products that may be coming in. He is always courteous and I havent ever felt "ripped off", this has happened at other pawn shops! If youre looking to buy something for a great price or even looking to sell something and get a good price this is the place to go! Be sure to ask for Trevor hes the BEST!
