Absolutely the best experience I have ever had with any business, the owner is great, not to mention hes a combat veteran like myself. I needed a little help the night before Easter and he was there to help me, gave me way more than I expected . his wife was awesome too..! I will definitely keep them as a backup in hard times. Thank you both very much, If I could give them 10 stars* I would for sure..!!! Anyone who didnt rate them with 5 stars should have..! Any negative feedback about them I can personally tell you is a lie...!!! The guy crying about the Clarinet, you cant ask someone too buy $1.00 for $10.00, come on now, you just sound ignorant, & Im sorry but who plays the Clarinet...? If you had anything worth Value Im 100% positive these guys would have been more then happy to help you out... Dont rate too hate if its not true..!

Best customer service, especially for a pawn shop. After SEVERAL pawn ship visits, they refused to buy a ring since it was tungsten and not resize able (understandable), but they were rude about it, therefore I would never buy or sell from them. After stopping by Murray Big Dawg Pawn, the guy very nicely said that he would have a hard time selling it since its non resizable so he wants interested and apologized. On my way out he asked how much I was hoping to get. I told him my price and he offered DOUBLE since I was "a nice guy", and it was a good looking ring. I will DEFINITELY be returning to sell AND buy from this business. Hard to find good customer service these days. But these guys are old fashioned and treat you like you should be treated. Nice local business!

The best thing I can say about this store is that its open late. Outside of that, customer service and their dealing practices leave a lot to be desired. When I walked in I was treated like I didnt even exist by the older gentleman running the counter. In addition I was selling a 220 dollar power tool set mint. The most he was willing to give me 80 bucks and openly mocked me when I tried to negotiate more. Honestly most the positive reviews must be from people impressed by how late they were open and maybe different people they had dealt with. I know it is a pawn shop and not to expect much, but out of the many pawn shops I have sold to I have to say this is one of the worst experiences I have had. One star service with an additional star for their hours.

I wish i had the option of putting NO STARS, they suck. if you read through the reviews it says they low ball you for your items and that is TRUE. they dont know the value of anything and the things they do take are garbage, with no value. ive came here numerous times, trying to give them a chance but customer service doesnt mean jack to these guys. save yourself the time and frustration, and go elsewhere. might i reccomend EZ pawn on 7800 and state. love them there!! BIG DOG SUCKS.

I experienced excellent customer service here. I told them what I needed upon coming in and they helped me find what it was I needed and while I was waiting for it to charge a bit (it was a tablet), I looked around and even had them (kind older gentleman) take out a knife for me to look at. We found me a match and I went home with a good tablet for only $35! And I will probably be back if I ever have the urge to go to a pawn shop again ever in the future.

Bought a wedding ring here for $800, black diamond. Was not love, came on hard times came back to sell it and she offers 250?? Because I complained she raised it to 300$ because she is a business and needs to make money. Justified. BUT you already raped us in price and made money off of us. And you give us a quarter of what it supposidly worth? What a joke. There are hundreds of pawn shops in Utah, take your business else where!

Super friendly and beyond reasonable when it comes to dealing with sales and purchases. Great reminder that family owned businesses far exceed the bigger companies and corporations. I will definitely be going back here if I ever need to get rid of some things or buy secondhand items because they are honest, fair and have a great selection of quality products. The man who helped me(also the owner) was extremely helpful and nice. Excellent customer service experience and the amount that was offered and paid for my item was definitely fair and probably more than any other pawn shop wouldve given me. Overall, it was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a pawn shop.

Do not ever, EVER go here!!! They are major low ballers, They will rip you off when you sell, Pawn or buy. They have no idea what customer service is nor do they have any clue what a repeat customer means to a business! They will take advantage of you and screw you over. I highly recommend never going here!!!

This place is great! The people are extremely friendly, relatively low interest rates, and treated me fairly! The employees is why I really love this place and will be returning. Everywhere else I went, the employees were rude. Not to mention Big Dog is open till 9 at night everyday!

Pros are that their loan rate is very low. Cons are their prices seem really high. I would say its a great place to get a loan and pawn something, but not such a great place to buy something. One of the ladies that works there is unnecessarily bitchy too.

Went in to look at guns, came out with an awesome deal on a used firearm. Total value was $400 and I only paid $150. Great customer service too. They threw in a bunch of freebies because of my business. They are right, I will come back.

I have used this time shop before and they are very friendly but I showed up at 8:30 and they were already locked up and closed for the night even though their hours say theyre open until 9 p.m. Im very disappointed
