We just ordered a gas stove via Sears back in November. It ended up taking almost a month to get the stove, and then another week to resolve all of the remaining refunds and issues we had with Sears. Needless to say, I absolutely would not go through Sears again. However, once we posted about our issues on Twitter, we did eventually (after 3 times of rescheduling) get a strategic case manager assigned to us that finally helped us sort things out. Full Story: We ordered our stove online for Black Friday week on 11/23, expecting it to be here the following Tuesday. It never showed up during the confirmed time frame so we called and they then rescheduled to the following Wednesday. Then it was rescheduled to Friday, then to Saturday, then to the following Wednesday then Friday and it finally came on Friday 12/16. They said there was something wrong with the routing number on our stove that did not allow the delivery to be scheduled. We were promised so many times that it would happen and it never did. Once we were assigned to a strategic case manager after posting on Twitter, we did get some additional refunds. I will say, we got about 30-40% refunds off the initial sale price and it was worth the wait given the discounts received. Regardless, the customer service was terrible and I would never go through Sears again to purchase an appliance. They get two stars because of our awesome Strategic Case Manager, Chelsea.

One star only because I had to! The day I would rather deal with Wal Mart than Sears has arrived. I will NEVER purchase anything from Sears again! I bought a snow blower and an extended 3 year warranty. After one season it wouldnt start. Trying to get a repairman out to look at it took numerous phone calls. The state of Utah (or so I am told) does not have snow blower techs. They had to send a guy from Denver to look at it. He said the engine was seized up and he would have to order me a new one. I dont want to write a book on this, but I now have an engine in my entry hall and Sears has not one tech that can come back to install it. I was told by several call center people if they couldnt fix it in 30 days I could get a new one. Now when I want to take that avenue I am being told it doesnt qualify because It hasnt been worked on 5 times in a 12 mo period. I cant get anyone out!!! Now the warranty department supervisor is telling me to FAX the corporate office. OH MY WORD. 15 hours of my life wasted on calls to this joke of a company!

My parents bought a new fridge from here. Youd think it would be easy, go to the store, pick the fridge, pay for it, have it delivered and have them pick up the old one, right? Nope. When they delivered it, late I should say, they broke the power plug and we had to store our food outside all night in the old fridge in our driveway and well into the next day because we didnt have a working fridge in our house. The man bringing the new plug was late too. Now its been a few WEEKS and we are STILL waiting for these people to take our old fridge out of our driveway. We have called and called, and theyre supposed to be here right now actually. Theyve had a 4 hour time window. No sign of them. Theyve got 5 more minutes until theyre officially late too, and I dont expect to see them at all honestly. My family, me, and all of my friends have agreed to never shop at this Sears again, and maybe not any Sears at all after this lovely experience.

Sears in Jordan landing I bought a table and they told me to pick it up on Dec.2nd. I did not get there until the 3rd. today is the 6th and they still do not answer the phone!!!!!!!It was not there yet, they told me to call on Tuesday when the next truck came and I have been calling for DAYS and no one answers the phone (ALL DAY) when I finally got a hold of a person at Corporate they shuffled me around to 12 different phones. But even THEY could not get the store to answer !!!Sears has gone down hill so far since I started shopping there 45 years ago that after this I will never step foot in another sears store as long as I live they have the WORST customer service of ANY company I do business with!!!!!!!!! Sears down right SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They do NOT deserve a star but I could not post without giving them at least one.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Customer service is non-existent. I saw a homeless man relieving himself in the dirty parking lot. There were these really loud and annoying beeping sounds going off every 5 seconds in the mens clothing department (thats meant to deter theft). But whatever. Way to drive away shoppers, assholes! They got rid of the electronics department due to sluggish sales, and the whole store is just a big mess. I dont see how they can compete with the likes of Wal-Mart and Target. Ill give Sears about a year or two before they go under.

Dont buy anything there or use their layawAy its a nightmare they Dont help you if u have problems with the item u purchased...the layawAy guy was very rude and dont think he remembers he has a job because all of us the customers...please please dont buy any appliances or equipment i was reading more reviews and confirm my opinion about it...they sell trash! If anything i just buy clothes when in clearance thats all... And in adition they never answer their phones! Wow no wonder they are almost out of business!

Only one cash wrap open in the entire building. Found a total of six employees working, none of which knew about the layaway program or what products they carried in the sections they were working. The fitting rooms be were dirty with loose trash and merchandise that was not picked up or anything. Within the first five minutes of being in the shoe department we found a box with used shoes. And the manager was not professional in dealing with an unsatisfied customer. Overall it was a horrible experience.

I went to pick up parts for my lawn mower because the website said that they are open today this is not true for the parts center when I ride there are there is a paper sign on the door new hours closed Sundays. You should update your website and explain this to people so they do not waste a trip . With that being said every time Ive gone there they have been extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure I was taking care of.

Worst customer service Ive ever had at a department store. Ive received better service at a discount thrift store. The employees were shopping for themselves and just stood as customers waited. They were also using company phones to talk to their friends. I needed a size that they didnt have in stock and asked if they could check a different location for me. The cashier gave me the number and asked if I would call them myself.

Malo, bad customer service @Sears. If you buy something & it breaks, like shoes or a handbag - just hope it breaks in 30 days. Otherwise you just bought an expensive (broken) item they wont return. Even if the thing you bought typically lasts at least 8 months to a couple of years. They act like theyre doing you a favor by letting you wait 20 minutes in line to give them your hard-earned money.
