I love this place. I discovered it about a year ago (May 2014). Their main business is selling you great coffee to take home and brew. Just choose a coffee from any of the coffees they have, and they will fresh roast it for you and grind it if you want as well. Roasting can take some time, so calling ahead is a good idea. They always have the House favorite Celestial Bean Caurenteno available without calling ahead, and several others as well. The Staff is very friendly and knowledgeble and love to tell you about their various coffees. You can buy coffee by the cup, but the seating is limited. I love their coffee and I buy all my coffee here. I just wish Id discovered it sooner.

Oh how I love Jack Mormon coffee... let me count the ways. One of my very best friends was the first to introduce me to Jack Mormon coffee and I found the name super clever and the shop itself was cute. Since my friend lives close enough to walk to Jack Mormons, most of the time I visit here we end up getting a coffee craving and visit Jack Mormons. She buys the local roasted beans and other stuff that they sell here and I have had coffee made from her home a number of times and I can never quite make it as good as she does, but Im starting to think its the beans shes using!

The variety in the selection of raw coffee beans is impressive! They will roast the combination of different kinds for you if you ate buying a pound, they also have some pre-roasted. They clean their machine each time they make a coffee. Im sensitive to beans from certain countries, this is the only place I feel like I know I can go and have more than one choice of beans from Africa, made fresh for me to drink and I know I wont get sick! Love them! Its not a place to go and sit, no seating, get your coffee and go. Great products available too.

The coffee is amazing, and the selection is huge and ever changing. The staff is on point with their knowledge and customer service. Though there are a few tables to sit at and a nice spot outside this is a roaster more than a coffee shop. So go get an epic cup of coffee and relax, even take a nice stroll through the avenues, but this isnt the spot to come and hunker down with your laptop for hours, there is no wifi, I think that is great and actually adds to the laid back relaxed atmosphere.

The fresh roasted coffee is great. However if you dont brew it all within a week the flavor starts to change. It is "fresh". That being said they dont sell any less then a pound at a time. I live by myself and dont want to pay for a whole pound at a time. I called and asked if I could just buy enough for a cup and even though they said they had it they turned me away. What company turns away a customer like that! Sorry but get your stuff together!

Located in the Avenues, this is a precious coffee joint with amazing beans. Each pound can be roasted to your liking and they always have delicious roasts readily available. Each employee that I have come in contact with is very helpful and genuinely wants me to find that "perfect roast". Their prices are slightly (about $1) more than other roasters in the area, but it is worth every penny.

The best fresh roasted coffee I have ever found. As mentioned in some reviews, no restroom and not much of a space to hang out in. They do offer some chairs and bar stools to drink something you may have ordered. If you want to spend a while at a coffee shop or meet up with a friend, consider another venue. If you want to buy dank coffee or neat coffee paraphernalia, this is the place.

One of the few places where you can find a clover press coffee machine. Ask the baristas for more information if you do not know the background - as it is a very interesting story. The coffee quality is good, but not the best in the area. Seating is limited. Dont be fooled by the stairs in the back, there is not additional seating upstairs, but rather a private apartment.

One of my favorite local coffee shops. The seating is on the not-great side but the traffic has never been contentious either. The baristas clearly know their coffee (for SLC, anyways) and the offerings are many. I particularly enjoy their cold-brewed nitro coffee: its like drinking a glass of Guinness but instead of it being beer its coffee!

Excellent quality, 60 different single estate fresh roasted beans on site. Yes, you pay a little more, but at least youre getting what you pay for. I love the review of a coffee place based on WiFi and bathrooms, thats very relevant to the business (no sarcasm whatsoever in that statement!)

Fantastic shop! Exactly what youd expect from an independent coffee shop in utah. You have a vintage atmosphere and hipster barristas happy and ready to help you. I was pleasantly surprised with there cold brew coffe, however, it is definitely the best cold brew Ive ever had.

Liked their Nitro Brew. Super cool that you can get a bag of raw beans for the road. What keeps this from being my go to coffee shop is that they dont have Public Restrooms. Seriously, in a coffee shop this should be mandatory. Otherwise a 4 star establishment. Just be warned.

Everything you can ask from a coffee shop. Great coffee roaster / brewery. I you havent tried get their brewed coffee. They have a unique machine that makes an instant brewed coffee that you cant find elsewhere. Its also a home of nitro cold brew served all around the town.

Одно из самых лучших кофе, что я когда-либо пробовала. Будете в Солт-Лейк-Сити, обязательно загляните в это местечко.

Best coffee in town. Cruser and his merry band of roasters know their stuff. Stop by and sample a cup made for you. Unique Clover machine is the only one of its kind in Utah. There is always a smile for locals and visitors alike. Truly a Celestial experience.

Great coffee roaster. There is a wall full of unroasted beans from all over the world and, if you have the time, you can pick your bean origin the type of roast you want, and they will do it right there for you! They also make delicious coffee and lattes.

Price is okay, but both coffees were too watered down for them being dark roasts. Maybe it was an off day? They made it fresh in front of me and everything. But I left feeling jibbed even after voicing my opinion. Both baristas did not care much.

Great coffee and the in-house roasted beans are legit. The customer service is always friendly too. I just they didnt have such funny hours...people.like their coffee earlier than 9am. :) In any case, its awesome to have in the neighborhood.

This is a must visit place for anyone that loves coffee. You can order some coffee and have it roasted for you before bringing it home for a quick cup. Remember that coffee is a fruit and has a shelf life of 7 days after being roasted.
