Really good atmosphere. My food was also great. However below average coffee sizes and service. I asked the barista what sizes they do which was 8 12 and 16( she said 16 only in to go cups) I then tried to order a 16 oz latte which she said she couldnt do. If you have a 16 oz cup and a espresso machine you can do a 16 oz latte. I understand this isnt a Starbucks style coffee shop with giant drinks but not being able to do a 16 oz latte when you have the cup sizes is ridiculous.

This place is pretty awesome. Im not sure if the working conditions are different or if the employees at this location are just better at customer service, but I consistently have a better experience here than at the 900 s. location. Its not that I have ever had a bad experience at the 900 s. location either. Its that the employees at this Avenues location are extra thoughtful and personable, yet still professional. Its a difference that stands out.

Toast is amazing, believe all the hype. Its that yummy, hearty bread that sets it apart from everywhere else. Definitely try the granola. It has a spicy kick at the end thats memorable and makes me want more. I love it in bowl with ice cold whole milk. Lattes are a touch pricey, but the beans are roasted perfectly and make the splurge so worth every penny.

Partr 2...a wonderful adventure. Part 1...Publik on 900 south ( check out the YelpI have already done !!! ). Now Part 2 Publik Coffee Roasters on 3rd Ave. Terrific environment, coffee extraordinaire and coffee that is..well...just special. Lots of computers and lots of tables...perfect for that break in the day or starting the morning. Love it.

This Publik location is situated in the old Two Creek Coffee building. The location is wonderful, and it seems like Publik is getting settled nicely. The yard is currently being redone, and they are in the process of adding outdoor seating in front of the building. Staff is friendly, and as always with Publik, the coffee is superb.

The place is cool, and hip. The coffee is pretty tasty, but the temp was pretty far off the mark. The granola was amazing and well priced, and I got some avocado toast, but it had too much salt on it. Recommend, but dont get a crazy drink if you want the temp right and get no or light salt on the items that have salt.

Love the Avenues location of Publik! Its a lesser-known spot and theres always a place to take a seat and study. Incredible atmosphere, not too loud or distracting, and their coffee is wonderful just as it is at the downtown location. Try their mint limeade! Not sure if theres WiFi at this location yet.

Love the location, and the people. Their baristas are genuinely nice, something lacking at other coffee shops in the area. Their small is menu is creative and fresh, and the shop itself is great. An awesome reuse of a historic building. This place fits right in in the Avenues.

Service was a little slow but mmmmmmmm was it worth it. Also it has a chill atmosphere there are a lot of U students there just studying others just meeting up. Real cool place and nice atmosphere. You must eat their cookies, it is worth cheating the diet for!

Great coffee, great people, baristas are fantastic, great atmosphere--however the chairs (or tiny stools, rather) are extremely uncomfortable. If they would replace some of the stools with chairs with backs this would be the best coffee shop in SLC.

The coffee is good, but everything is overpriced, the baristas are often rude, and the internet seems to never be working. If you have something to work on, I suggest you check that you can connect before you purchase anything.

Publik has great coffee and is a nice little shop. They close a little early for me, but I know thats not a problem for everyone. They served me my ice coffee in a little Mason jar which was pretty neat.

Amazing coffee you cant go wrong here. The toast is great as well, many of the topping options make toast a meal here so give it a try. The Habanero Apricot Jam is my favorite.
