Came in to buy SNES games. Im a collector. I brought in metal warriors for trade with a repro label, also with it was the original damaged label. Right now on average a damaged metal warriors goes for $180. Kid called his boss and comes back with an offer of $5...I travel the country collecting and supporting the local retro gaming community. This was the such a slap in the face for no reason. The kid behind the counter couldnt even look me in the eyes when he said $5. So I asked him too. He replied,"its not me its my boss" twice. The kid was very nice and seemed embarrassed. I would be too. Also I sold a retron 2 and an NES super bowl cart to a customer who was waiting with me. I mention this because they looked at my game for 20 minutes before coming out from the back with a $5 offer. Disgrace to the gaming culture my friend

I recently purchased a game from this store. The game had a "game of the year" tag on the front. I asked them if it included all of the downloadable content most games of the year include. The salesman said yes. When I got home, it was not the game of the year and it was the same game I already had. I went back and explained the mistake. They said it was misleading, but Id have to speak with store manager to return it. They also told me the initial salesman (Mike Vasquez) was new and theyd had issues with him. They gave me Gregs (the manager) phone number. I called it 3 different times and never got a return call. Needless to say, Game Peddler got $55 bucks from me, but it will be the last dollar they ever receive from me. Silly decision that will cost them much more income due to lost business. Stay away!

I usually enjoy going there. This time i had a really bad experience. My boyfriend took me there to have a good time together. When a mallcop told him to pull up his pants, which where not even low. well he pulled them up anyway to avoid getting into an argument. Then we kept shopping when we noticed he was following us. It was so embarrassing and uncomfortable for me the mall cop to be following as if we where doing something wrong. The mall cop then told us to leave because my boyfriends pants were still sagging which at no time did he pull them back down he even had a belt on. He ruined our day and embarrassed us in public. I dont know how i would feel going back

Every-time I walk in there I see no one at all, I feel like I can just steal something there (but Im not that type of guy). Give it like the next a minute or so and a employee will appear from the back, greeting you. Most of these employees are really nice and nerdy (in a good sense of a gamer-way). I like it how they still kept the classic games in display, and their membership is decent enough to sign-up, however they lack of space, inventory & staff. In most cases youll meet their manager who seems to be... meh. (Not gonna say his name or describe what he looks like, you just gotta see the place for yourself.)

Today when I went in the manager was making some very cocky statements towards other customers. After a customer asked about a Lord of The Rings game, he very rudely told him he had no idea about the game because he avoided games based off movies in general. Then proceeded to tell other customers that another game, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time isnt that good. Sure, his opinions are fine, but the manner in which he delivered them was very rude. I dont plan on returning.

I just purchased a brand new Nintendo 3DS from them a few days ago, only to find a day later some specs under the primary LCD screen. After pointing that out to them, they referred me to Nintendo, versus swapping out the unit! So, Ive had to ship the unit back to Nintendo and found that GameStop would have merely replaced the unit. So, I would NOT recommend these people at all. They cant even spell their name, correctly.

The staff there was rude and terrible before. Recently on going I see theyve hired new people who are very nice and can give good recommendations. While the selection is older and smaller it is mentionable that they have vintage gaming products as well that most mainstream game stores no longer have.

Just sad to see this store in the situation that its in... I remember the Game Pedler glory days at Crossroads, Cottonwood, Layton, and of course Valley Fair. They VERY rarely have any new stuff as far as old games go... I cant imagine that the store will last, which really is quit sad.

A good store, they fixed my games no problem and helped me out a lot. The games are a bit expensive but the disks are in perfect condition. They fixed both if ny disks that were scratched up for a good price and are very friendly. I would recommend this store to get your disks fixed.

My experiences here have always been incredibly hot and cold. Several members of the staff are rude, and judgemental of the types of games people play and what customers might be looking for. I definitely have had more negative experiences in this store than positive ones.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Pretty limited selection of used DVDs and BluRay. Wide range of games though, modern to N64 era.Games were mostly pre-owned, mostly older generation. Recommend it for the games, not for the movies.

This used to be one of my favorite stores, but I will never go there again. I tried to return or exchange an unopened item and they refused. I will take my business to a "real" store with a complete return policy.

Logan is a kick ass worker. He was very proffessional, polite, and helpful. He definitely knew his stuff, and was easy to converse with. If you guys dont give him a 10 dollar raise wyd

Probably the only place that I know of that sells N64 games. I used to love coming here but now they never have anything good.

All of the games they sell are scratch free because of their resurfacing machine. Great prices, too!
