This place is a real love/hate relationship. I used to love going for their older console selection, but my last few experiences have been nothing but frustrating. I went in to trade in some games (first time by the way), immediately after entering the store I greet the guy behind the counter. Without a single look at me, the kid behind the counter points to the left of him and shouts "OVER THERE". At this point I knew I was in for a fun time. I just about walked out right then and there but I was willing to try. After some very awkward small talk about this boys day, he informs me hed give me $55 dollars for about 20+ games. I kindly declined his offer to which he was extremely surprised. He then explained that were getting a better deal than Gamestop would offer. Even though they were better priced than Gamestops it was more of the attitude that turned me off completely. If youve got to spend your money here, call ahead and make sure they have your product. Dont even bother with expecting good customer service. Just walk in, pay, walk out. And make sure a chubby Mexican kid isnt working that day. TLDR: Tried doing business, kid had attitude, walked out empty handed.

I first discovered this place about 3 months ago. I was at Bookmans in Tempe and one of the employees recommended that I visit the store since they had a larger selection of retro video games. I was not disappointed. When I first entered I was greeted with a friendly smile and looked around and was astonished at the VERY large selection of games. I mean extremely huge! Games from when I was a kid playing on my black & white TV, to everything that is current. I was especially pleased to see Sega Dreamcast and Nintendo 64. These were a couple of my favorites, but nothing better than the original Nintendo Entertainment System. They even had R.O.B. for sale behind the counter. Thank you Fallout Games, you have made me appreciate all those hours that my mom said that I wasted playing video games. I will certainly let everyone I know that has a passion for video games know of your store and the fact that you have a great selection, great service, great prices, and 3 valley locations.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars but oh well. I dont understand those people that only gave 1 star because this place is by far the most amazing game store I have been to. I dont care what anyone else has said on here, the prices are very cheap compared to other game locations and are manageable and understandable. My boyfriend introduced me to this store and I love it. Every time I go in I am greeted with smiles and welcoming faces. the worker I see every time, (Scott I think?) is extremely helpful and such a nice guy. Excellent customer service each time I come in from every one there. I am so glad that I have found this store because I will no longer be going any where else. And to whoever said the store is always dirty, idk whats wrong with you because its ALWAYS clean there. So thank you Fall Out Games for existing and being just so amazing!

This store got my friend a WAY better deal on trading in an Xbox 360 and his games than Gamestop. By like a hundred dollars or something ridiculous like that. They have huge bins of Legos to play with while you wait for them to calculate your stuff. After we left it turns out Fallout Games had given him a micro-usb cable instead of a mini-usb cable (gamers, you know the difference) so he had to come back and the manager was really courteous (and has a great beard) and gave him a brand new cord instead of a used one. My friend had bought a used PS3 after trading his 360 in. Only complaint is the guy behind the counter helped customers who were buying stuff before us - I think they should just go in order. It was a long wait but we did create some awesome Lego guys while we waited. Great experience. Honest people.

sometimes it makes me wonder how this business is still open. they have poor customer service skills, they dont clean their games until you actually pay for them so if they are broken you are s.o.l. i wish they were more clean, i always see bugs on the floor in both their tempe and phoenix locations. the black guy at their store is really rude and does not want anyone asking him questions. i simply asked for their return policy and told me to look at the piece of paper by the counter. i hate that a local business is way overpriced than gamestop and they dont care for their customers i will never come back to this whole in the wall game store. i prefer evil gamestop for new and old games now since they started to sell old games they are under priced compared to them.

Ive been stopping in ever since a good friend of mine recommended this place. The store set up is great, has quite a big selection of new and vintage games. Most carts are loose but their stock ranges from loose to boxed to CIB/factory sealed. Prices on average are what you expect but you can get a good deal. And if items such as boxes or manuals are what you are looking for, they have that covered too. I do prefer shopping when the manager is in or when previous staff I am familiar with are there however. One staff member in particular never really seems interested in helping me no matter how much I want to spend. Just seems disinterested in working or helping. Despite this though I have always enjoyed every time I stop in. Great place overall.

They are fair I suppose. Gamestop has all around better perks. The major downfall of this place is that they dont accept games without the original case and cover art... which I think is a poor decision. That means games youve bought from redbox, gamefly, or even gamestop or other used games arent accepted. When your store is BASED on used games, that is just ridiculous. I could understand for collectors items but otherwise just not cool. The store itself is on the edge of presentable and dirty. You can sell used items without your store giving off a garage sale vibe. All in all i will stay with gamestop. You can say what you will about gamestop, but at the end of the day, they have fair prices, fair trade deals and a membership program.

Where do i begin? Lets start with scott who is the friendliest person and knows the store and stock inside and out. You can ask about whatever game and he usually has a good idea if its in stock even if its in a random place. He will always take the time for each customer. Such a great guy one could use the term the "gaming jedi." The prices are usually the best amongst the other "retro stores" and has the best selection. I have never had a bad experience there in the past 5 years ive been going there. This is a great local business that i will continue to support!

Fallout games is bomb. Personally however ths raying is for their selection and prices. Used game stores cannot be expected to have a certain copy of something but I swing around Fallout every once in a while and now have almost every game Ive looked out for. When the game I need is available I can expect a modest price. Theyre going to make a profit but its way better than garbage internet prices. Aside from the ocasdional pompous dick gamer employee I like the management, love the fair return practices.
