5 stars for Quality 5 stars for cleanliness 5 stars for professionalism 4.75 stars for customer service Id love to give them 5 stars for everything but it took me about a month to finally get in for my tattoo. Daniel was the artist that hooked me up with my new tattoo and he was so great. I told him that these were going to be my first (and second) tattoos, so he talked me through the whole process and explained what he was doing and why. When he put on the second stencil I realized that it was bigger than i realized he was so kind and he was even willing to go make another stencil, instead i trusted him enough to freehand it (it was just a "V") and he was great. He really went the extra mile to make sure that i felt comfortable and at ease. I know that this is common practice but he also gave me his cell so that i could talk to him directly if i had questions; this was important to me because the internet can be full of extremes an conflicting information. Daniel was great, he answered all my questions and hes quick to reply. Hes cautious but confident and he was very kind and reassuring. 5 stars for Daniel Im giving them 4 stars (i wish i could give them like 4.75) because trying to get in was the absolute worst! Over the course of a month i went in twice and called about 5 times trying to get an appointment. I get that all the artist schedule appointments individually but (this being my first time) i didnt know which artist i wanted to schedule with, i only knew that i wanted to get a tattoo sometime that month. I left my number at the desk twice asking for someone to call me to set up an appointment but no one called. The last time i had gone the guy at the desk was kind of rude. He just seemed really annoyed that i was there and i felt like he made me feel like i was asking stupid questions the whole time, by the end of that 5 minute conversation i felt really intimidated. When i asked if i could leave my number it felt like he said yes to get me to leave. I really wanted to get my tattoo at Arcane Art because it had good reviews and when i went by it was clean and i felt good vibes there (before the rude guy) but scheduling, it was a pain. The night i got my tattoo i was about ready to give up on the whole thing, it was going to be one of those "if theyll take me ill get the tattoo, if they have no openings its a sign and im done trying." Luckily Daniel answered the phone and the story has a happy ending. Take Home Message: Great place, scheduling is a pain but id suggest going to the websites and contacting an artist directly.

Arcane Art Tattoo encompasses a plethora of artist each of whom convey their own esoteric style. Exceptional quality canvass work with attentiveness to detail minor to massive. It’s evident when walking in the staff is dedicated to an overall positive experience for any customer. Acknowledging my entrance and perusal of the artist portfolio’s. I was approached professionally with inquires as to what I was considering for a tattoo. The staff is very amicable, eager to discuss style ideas of tattoo designs, conveying their own creative eye perspective. You will note the condition of shop as being organized, clean, hospitable, and screaming talent with artwork displayed on the walls. Kris Vanlueven, Owner of the shop and himself a Tattoo artist for the last 8 years, I’d consider in my opinion an expert. Not only focusing on his clients, but also taking extra care of all patrons whom enter the shop. Kris’s leadership is apparent in all the staff. Whenever a piece is drawn up the placement is discussed as if doctrine to where it best emphasizes the body’s natural curvature. IMPRESSED! Especially the detail of what position the patron is to maintain for the overall best results. Jentrey McCausland is as reliable as they come. As the shops piercer and himself a tattoo artist for 4 years. He covers any questions or concerns you might have with straight forwardness in all his responses. Explaining the step by step process of what he will be doing and what you can expect. In addition, he has developed a distinct eye for cover up’s of poor tattoo work. Something that can happen time to time to the inexperienced patron. First impressions last a lifetime. I can assure you, anyone who steps foot in the door at Arcane Art, you will NOT be disappointed

I was very excited to get tattooed by Audrey. I went in end of November 2016 and set up an appointment for February 2017. Me and my girlfriend got work off at least a month in advance for this. We showed up on the day of the appointment and was told that Audrey would not be coming into work that day. She had gotten sick which would be understandable if she would have had the decency to call us, even if it was an hour in advance. Turns out she doesnt have a phone to get in contact with her clients. One man who I assume works there told us you just gotta catch her when shes in I set this appointment up 3 months in advance. How do you expect to be considered a professional if you cant even contact your clients? I was very frustrated and knew almost immediately I would not be letting someone this unprofessional do my tattoo, but I left my information so she could contact me and maybe reschedule. That happened over a week ago and I have not heard anything back. I will definitely not be getting a tattoo from Audrey or anyone in this very unprofessional shop.

My wife had a daith piercing here a while back. More recently she got a new tattoo for her birthday. They have multiple artists who all charge the standards shop rate, though they each set their own schedules and work somewhat independently. Each artist has their own style, so they encourage guests to look at a sampling of their work and pick one whose style fits the best. Next, talk to that artist and work out the scheduling and arrange the details of the work to be done. They usually book it over a month in advance. Plan to set an appointment and have your work done on a later date. It is a rare exception that they can accept a walk-in and do the work the same day. For my wifes tattoo, she choose an artist. She explained what she wanted. He asked questions to make sure that he understood her expectations. He offered explanations about styles, size, and characteristics of what he could do, and gave her options. The final product was better than she expected, and he played fun music and engaged in conversation while he worked.

I came here in June for a consultation with Matt Barboa and after the consult ( which was only like 2 min) and giving him my deposit, he said he would start my drawing and he was backed up till August. I thought, ok thats fine Ill get it done in August then. Well August comes around and I dont hear from him. I call him mid August to see whats going on and he says. Oh sorry I havent even started the drawing Ill call you in a couple weeks though. Well September comes around and still nothing. I start calling him and I get no answer. After going back to the shop and asking for my money back, they said it was typical for him to just "forget" people. They didnt give my money back because they said I needed to ask him. Well its January now and after leaving messages I get nothing. Very unprofessional and dishonest. It was supposed to be my first tattoo and a major piece too.
