Last year (2014) I was on my daughters Verizon Plan, and was due for a phone upgrade. Since Diamond Wireless in the Newgate Mall in South Ogden said it was a Verizon dealer and had a large store and selection, that is where I went. Usually, I only use cellphones for emergencies. All I wanted was to change my bottom-of-the-line cell phone for one with a keyboard, to make it easier to do an occasional text. I was not interested in Internet or a Smart Phone at all. But, the salesmen there told me that I would have to pay $50 for the upgrade UNLESS I went with their "great promotion" of getting a Smart Phone instead, which would be free. I told him I was only paying $10 a month presently and did not want to pay $30 a month, which I have been told from other Verizon customers that I would have to if I owned a Smart Phone. This salesman assured me MANY times that I would only have to pay an additional $10 a month, and that it would be well worth it for the added perks. I believed him and signed up. After a couple of months, my daughter informed me that her bill had gone up and that I was being charged $30 a month, so I went in and talked to the same salesman. He swore that he would NEVER tell anyone that it would "only be $10 extra a month" and that he must not have known I didnt already have internet on my phone previously. He obviously did, because he is the one that talked me into getting Internet that day! That was a blatant lie. I dont do business with unethical people, plus I had no desire to pay the extra $20 a month, so I decided that I would cancel my service with Verizon. I tried to cancel it there at Diamond Wireless, but they informed me that they werent actually a Verizon Wireless outlet, so he couldnt do that. After a huge hassle that took weeks, my husband and I both cancelled our Verizon accounts, paying over $600 to do so. We both went with an AARP service that cost us only $20 a month total for both of us. Several months went by and then my daughter received a letter from an attorneys office (AKA collection company) in the mail telling her that she owed Diamond Wireless $400 for early termination. I looked at my contract and saw nothing that indicated this to me, so she told them to prove it. It took a couple more months, but they came up with a contract I had signed stating that early termination would result in a termination fee through Diamond Wireless, as well. A copy of that contract was NOT given to me. I realized that I only had the first 2 pages of 3 pages, and it was on the 3rd page. So now, I owe $400 to Diamond Wireless, and will probably owe for the Smart Phone that was not returned to them as well. That one error of believing that salesman that day, will eventually cost me about $1000. I wish I had never done business with Diamond Wireless. They are predators, clear and simple. Do not believe anything they say. Do not sign anything with them. And I will never do business with Verizon again, as well. Their reputation is ruined with me simply because they are allowing Diamond Wireless to handle their business transactions.

I was thinking about switching over to Verizon from another carrier and was very impressed with my first interaction with the folks at this store! i spoke with Jeremy and he was awesome! Jeremy was a huge help in deciding to switch to Verizon and help me make the big decision of what my next phone would be. I was unable to sign up that day but told him i would be in the next day to get everything set up and he did express to me that he would not be in the next day, so he gave me his phone number so i could contact him later if i had any questions. My mistake was when i went in the next day i worked with the Store Manager Joseph Barlow. As the Store Manger i thought i would be taken care of even though i wouldnt get the opportunity to finish the process with Jeremy, well i was wrong!!!!!!! Joseph Barlow had no intentions of making sure we were taken care of nor gave us any info on the process we would go through once we left the store (which now is turning into a big headache)! I felt like Joseph was shady, unethical and dishonest and now we have to pay for things i was unaware of at the time of set up because he was unwilling to talk us through the process. As soon as we finished up he went straight into the back room and just acted like he has no time to answer any of the questions we have. If you go into this location and Jeremy or one of the other sales teams arent in to help you and you have to work with the store manager Joseph, walk right out the door!!

I was hesitant to go to a third party Verizon store but they ended up being much more accommodating. I went here a few days ago and was helped by Kyle and Jeremy. I have had a lot of phone drama lately and needed to upgrade. Phone messes are always expensive to fix but what couldve been a horrible day turned into a much brighter one with these guys helping me. Kyle was patient while helping me choose a phone I wanted and Jeremy did everything he could to try and help me not spend more than i already had to. Thanks to these guys I had a fun time dealing with a bad situation. Highly recommend!

Diamond has been around for a long time. They have the best prices and can price match competitors as well. You dont have to wait in line forever like at other big Verizon stores. Phone pricing is awesome and their accessories usually have a lifetime warranty. Their companies insurance plan is amazing too. They only replace devices with NEW phones, its cheap, it covers water damage, and you can go right in the store and take care of getting a new phone. I love going here to get my phones and accessories.

SCREW THIS VERIZON. My verizon store in Wyoming will put a screen protector on my phone for free!!! They wanted to charge me $7. After my phone bill being $100 a month I refuse to let them charge me anymore for doing something simple. This is the worst Verizon store ever

This places sale tactics are very shadey. They put extra stuff u dont want on your bill, never get back to u or do what they say. The Barlow guy is as bad as they come.
