Purchased two cars in the last two years; the emissions were fudged and the vehicles service was misrepresented. Jared is a phony and ripoff. Buy there if you like just dont count on anything regarding the service of the vehicle to be true or honest. I feel that if this dealership would misrepresent their cars then I am pretty sure the positive reviews were fabricated as well. Look further down the review list. Buy anywhere but there. I totally understand how emissions work and know that all it takes is one sensor to show good while other problems remain. You know what your doing and and you take advantage. Regarding your service how is anyone to trust your mechanic when you let the vehicle go with the amount of problems it had. You had an opportunity to make it right and instead of offering to assist with "ANY" of the cost your turned your back on the deal. Sales is about repeat business so by not working with me on any level you took a repeat buyer and left them hanging. The only fit being thrown is by you

Wonder Bread

I was in a pinch. I had a 2013 Honda Civic in perfect condition but my wife had a 1998 Civic on its last leg. We couldnt afford to add a second car payment. I still owed about $11,000 on my car and was paying $300 a month. Jared worked out a deal for us to trade in both cars and for me to get a 2014 Toyota Corolla and my wife a 2011 Nissan Altima and get both cars for only $60 more a month than the one car we were paying for initially. Then, after having the car for about a month we noticed the paint on the front bumper of my wifes car was bubbling and peeling. I went to back to Smart Buy to pick up our license plates and asked Jared if they had repainted the bumper before they sold us the car. He said no, and that he couldnt believe how horrible it looked. About 10 minutes after I left Jared called me and offered to have his detail guy repaint our bumper! Beyond great customer service! I would buy another car from Smart Buy in a second!

After a horrible experience at Larry H Miller I was ready to throw in the towel. I just filed bankruptcy and so many places promised me lobster and tried to feed me tuna so I came to the conclusion that reaffirming my car was the only option I had. I was referred to Jared and the person promised he could work miracles....I was a little sceptical but thought I would try one more time...that person was right. Jared got me a super sleek car at half the interest rate of what I was paying before...He worked hard to get my loan approved and i was in and out in one hour. I never take time to write reviews but he deserves this one...Thanks Jared. THERE ARE STILL HONEST CAR SALES MEN OUT THERE CHECK THIS PLACE OUT

What an amazing experience my husband and I had at Smart Buy Auto in Ogden! Jared was not only amazing but truly cared about us... went the extra mile, which took a lot of stress off of us. He is not your typical salesman, he does really care and want to help. He is honest and there is no hidden anything period. I work at a car dealership so I do know the proccess and how things work. We got the car we wanted it is beautiful but most of all we gained a friend! Will buy from him again, and I suggest to anyone that needs a car to go to Jared. Plus we were in and out, normally you spend hours waiting. Thank you again for the service and everything you did to help us... looking forward to our next purchase☺️

SHADY!!!!! I wanted to buy a truck and went there because they deal with people with not the best credit. I gave them all my information they checked my credit and said they should be able to get it done. After a week and a half of them dodging my phone calls I FINALLY drive in to talk with them. All they said is were still working on your loan (10 days really!?!) As soon as I left there I went somewhere else and was able to get into a car THAT DAY!!! DON'T GO HERE THE WAY THEY HANDLE THEIR CUSTOMERS TELLS ME THEY DON'T CARE WHAT KIND OF CONDITION THEIR AUTOMOBILES ARE IN AND DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU!

When I came to see Jared I was not in a good place credit wiz. I had just filed bankruptcy and did not know what he would be able to do for me. Jared was so nice and explained to me what my option were and also what I needed to do to make sure next year I am in a better place credit wiz. He also rushed order the plate for the car which were needed for my long trip. I also asked him if ordering an extra key was possible. Jared just makes things happen. I am so blessed and thankful to have been able to work with him. I love my new car and cant wait to watch my credit score grow thanks to his advice.

Jared is awesome!! This was my first car purchase so i was super nervous to buy especially from a smaller dealership which sometimes can be kinda shady... but Jared was super patient with me when I found that he had a car I wanted! and he gave me a great deal! Even after now that Ive purchased the car I had a really small problem come up and he was willing to have me bring it in so he could fix it! So far so good the car runs great! I would definitely recommend him to you! You can trust buying a car from him!

Best dealership in Ogden!! Jared is amazing.. I have been trying to get a new car for a few months and every place said the same thing.. Jared sold me a car years ago so I went back and he got me into a brand new car!! My payment is a great rate my interest is low.. I thought i would have to go to a buy here pay here place & he saved me from the high interest old car bullcrap!! I will never go anywhere else and I will send everyone I know to him!! I read all reviews, so obviously before going in here I read all of Smart Buys. The bad reviews are laughable, some people just cant accept they may be the issue! Anyways I got a great car from these guys! I hear horror stories of people buying from used car dealers in Utah, and later finding out that the car has a salvaged title! NOT HERE! With these guys you get what youre promised, and I ended up with a great car! Thanks Jared!
