Fun place to shop and to look around. Great selection of guns, baseball bats, tennis rackets, gym shorts, sports shirts etc, at a decent price. If you work for any inventory companies (i.e. WIS, RGIS, etc) and called to this store for inventory DONT PHUK it up on the few merchandise while counting on a hard tags, because the store manager is VERY strict and often rude to the point that hell get your supervisor to sit you out for the whole inventory scans! Take this advise from a former employee of WIS. (Just this Big 5 location). Dont get me wrong, Big 5 is easy inventory and a excellent place to get all the sporting/survival gear you need incase if $#!* hits the fan. UPDATE: Been here a while back (middle of August and again in early September) and one of the employee remembers me, back in May of 11, so surprised and delighted (Because I did the inventory a while back with few minor mistakes and sat throughout the whole inventory scans.), after buying some trail mix, beef jerky and sports drink for my LONG 6+ hour bike ride to West Jordan. Got a serious thirst for long adventure and challenging bike riding in the longest distance possible.

We were in a hurry and knew the sizes we needed for 2 pairs of roller blades. We waited for about 5 min before i went and asked for help once more. Nothing. I stopped an employee on his way up to the front. He started to help with the first pair and said he would send somone else over for the other pair because he was on lunch break. We waited about 4 more minutes, nothing. We just left. There were 3 people up at the register during this time. Very disappointed in the customer service.

High prices and rude clerks Item I went in to purchase was 3 xs the amount of same item at Macys. When asked if they price matched both clerks turned their backs to me and another customer looked at them like are you going to answer her? I asked again louder and they still ignored me. Customer nodded to one in my direction like hello? answer her! So the one with long hair slowly turned around and said with a smirk

Decent stuff, HORRIBLE service. How many employees standing around before someone comes and helps me buy a pair of shoes. After my SECOND trip into the store, and finding no one available to assist, I give up. I guess brick-and-mortar really is dead. Sad to have to buy shoes on the internet, but I guess that time has come.

I can find what I go in for. The lay out works well. It is reasonably priced. I buy my kids shoes from here and they last longer than when I get them from some shoe stores. They have good quality for the price.

It has pretty much anything for outdoor purposes. They are a little expensive but if you go during the right time and catch their clearance deals it makes up for it.
